The graphics are beginning to look a little ropey. Maybe they should wait until the PS3 comes out, and really kick the shit!
I only played FF7 and 8, and both were good, 7 being absolutely awesome.

Agreed, though FF8 really sucks after 50% of the story if you ask me..
I really hate the FF games for the ps2... and now they think by going back to the old "roots" they will attract more fans?
Maybe they thought older means worse grapichs? FFVII doesn't look good compared to todays standards, but that's not the point... the game still kicks ass (like FFVI)
First of all the game looks horrible.. (screenshots above) it doesn't even look like a traditional FF anymore... Im so sick and tired of Sony so I don't care anymore...
FF Tactics II?
FF VII Remake (Better gfx) ?
If you are going back to the old roots, at least make it look good like FFVII or FFVIII and FF IX

thats true but isn't the main character in every FF game "girly" looking? The thing that bothers me about this guy is his hair, and his retarted looking outfit.

Ok I really thought this were going to blow and all because of the new battle system, but, I'm going to change my mind now after a demo play-through, the game will fricking own (as long as what I write below isn't true for the final game)! 
They really surprised me, and I'm so glad they did.
The battle system is more or less the same as the original battle system, except here you can move around. I choose to play with the WAIT system, it's the most old-school and I'm a fan of old-school, so it comes natural.
One thing though, this demo, is everything in it made especially for this demo? Because I do NOT want lame STAGES. :/ If it has stages/missions it will be alot like FFX-2 and that I do NOT want.
On another note, this is how magna cartas battle system shuld have been like, fast and just great.

hi,
i've downloaded this game and transfert it to my ps2 using hdl_dumb... i've boot my ps2 using Hd Advance and when i try looding the demo, all i've got is a black screen and the game won't load...i've try setting mode in the hd advance menu but it didn't work.. what can i do??

if it doesn`t work with hdloader (already tried that, too), i guess it wont work with swapmagic dvd right ?
