There aren't so many options if you don't want to play on low settings and use 34" 21:9 1440p monitor. Everyone has own's priorities and I'm that kind of person that either I enjoy it in the way I want or I don't enjoy it at all. Besides that we shouldn't forget that all these prices depend a lot of your income aswell. These cards are definitely not for everyone.
At Overclock.net some are stacking 4 of them in one rig. Someone would say PC gaming is expensive hobby, well try eg. music and you will be back sooner than you've thought.
But it's not like games are all about graphics and such, so frankly i'd hate to be in your shoes where i can't enjoy something just because it's not looking the best it can be and beyond!
but you do have the right to buy whatever you want and play games in the way that satisfies you.
Yes that's correct. The thing is that I had 970 with this monitor and it just wasn't enough in my opinion. Mostly probably because 3,5GB of VRAM is not that much after all. Then I bought another one and it was ok but SLI is always SLI. Selling them I got GTX 980 Ti for bascally 5€ additional price. I'm sure it was better decision than staying with 970 SLI.

Nice to see that nvidia is pushing its gameworks anti-competitive bullshit into another title. I really hate these exclusive features, be it fom amd or nvidia, i think it only fucks over the consumer.

So Nuuvem were wankers and didn't refund my Arkham Knight order which means I have the keys for it. Turns out I got 2 keys and I'm not sure what the second one is for.
Anyone here who activated both keys and can tell me what the second key is for?
Another gameworks game that somewhow manages to screw AMD users in the bum, say it aint so, i don't believe, clearly is just a coincidence, AMD must suck at drivers yo.

yeah, exactly like that gameworks title Project Cars, am i right? (which later turned out had nothing to do with gameworks whatsoever, but no one cared, because it's easier for AMD shills to scream "evil nvidia" instead of looking at their own backyard of subpar drivers and subpar products).
well batman actually is gameworks title, but once again, so far we haven't seen a single shred of proof that gameworks is the cause of bad performance. just a bunch of sensationalist/click bait articles and forum posts...
Yep, that changed shortly after Harry asked and I replied. That was to be expected and why I said "so far".
Great for me, as it will unlock @ 6:30 pm local time and I will be able to play many hours before going to bed cause tomorrow I will have a long work day (followed by a national holiday)

Funny how PC has all the fucking time unbeliavable problems on every damn port, yet this shit for example runs flawlessy on AMD hardware in consoles (or can you say 30fps is flawless, but anyway).

Every single Gameworks game is riddled with technical problems, mostly on AMD with the crippled optimizations and sometimes all PC gamers as colateral.
Name one single Gameworks game that is properly optimized on a wide range of desktop configurations....ala GTA V, or Alien Isolation, Battlefield 4, etc.
These games i mention are neutral on the platform, in marketing and in benches , it doesn't favor AMD or NVDIA.
Might as well start buying both AMD and Nvidia, just so I can play game the way they're meant to be played... depending on whose cock the publisher is sucking off.

Was reading overclock.net topic about this AMD problem, and someone posted this...
Quote:
This reminds me of Crysis 2. That was not GameWorks, but AMD cards could not run it until the HD 7000 series was released. Random pockets of tessellated balls were hidden all over the place to significantly slow down AMD.
I don't get it why Rocksteady has a performance issue with the AMD cards. Aren't the PS4 and XboxOne using AMD GPUs?
Then, how did they get this game running at 30fps/1080p on those damn consoles?
I guess AMD is going to release another beta driver
