gmg must be quite upset i used their credits on this Very Happy

total launch failure.

and honestly... for the performance im getting, i REALLY... REALLY dont think the game looks THAT good.. i mean its ok... it looks nice... but for this performance, a major hype AAA game, i expected it to look jaw dropping with everything on max.. im not overly wowed with it in-game, and going through the screenshots ive taken, not one of them ive felt was worth uploading...

the combat is nice though. i DO like how rocksteady, each game, has managed to refine the combat and add more things to it, so i do think the combat is worthwhile and satisfying... and im liking being able to pick up bats and shatter them over some douchebags head Smile

So, they are getting pretty much negative reviews across the board, yet they don't even bother communicating with the community about the patch? I don't see anywhere that actually confirms a PC day one patch, only PS4.

I never finished Arkham Origins and couldn't find my save backups so I started playing that again. Hopefully I will be finished by tomorrow and maybe then at least the Day 1 patch will be up to get a better idea on performance. Just running the BAK benchmark it seems like everything had a film grain look so hopefully that is maybe just an option setting or something I can turn off.

Well it is only like 8 am London time, can't expect them to respond before they even get into the office.

I don't expect a quick fix for the issues from Rocksteady. Arkham City is a 2011 game and still runs like shit under DX11.

Some Neogaf members discovered a company called Iron Galaxy handled the PC version. I've never heard of them, but according to those people the company is known for being incompetent.

Now with the Xbox One basically a PC it is surprising that they would have another company port it for them.

Their project list doesn't look half bad though

am I the only one that doesn't have stuttering? Laughing
game runs ok-ish for me, just fps seems to be low every now and then
no other issues so far, except the crash on exit
everything on max 1920

Weird, they also worked on Origins which was a good port. So what the hell happened?

Got this for free with my video card purchase.

I'll try it tomorrow when I get my new monitor, but going by the responses I'm not getting my hopes up.

I wasn't all that hyped for it anyways...it just seemed like more of Arkham City/Origins but with a Batmobile tossed in. The Batmobile gameplay doesn't look that great in videos, either.

Oh well. I'll find out tomorrow.

The game itself is said to be good but the PC port is plagued with issues Sad

to be fair this is just a typical release day craze going on now. doesn't mean game itself is bad once we get past technical issues.

Steam doesn't refund keys, you can get refund only if you purchased it directly from steam store.
