It's a real shame i bought the key from g2play, i would go for a refund too if they keep ignoring the issue. The lack of respons tells me that they thought everything was fine. If they have a big patch waiting, i'm sure they would inform us about it asap.

Steam can accept the refund even up to 6 months of purchase, probably to avoid situations like these Laughing

Yeah, but that doesn't include keys purchased on sites like g2a etc, right?

Well, I'm going to hold off on playing then. I hopped in and did the benchmark and it ran well, but I can wait a bit for issues to be resolved.

Perhaps a statement from the dev today/tomorrow

Ah ok! Tbh I haven't read this new refund policy. Does it apply only if you bought the game through Steam? If so then (and speaking as a lawyer) is quite easy to extend this on court for keys bought through other online shops. The game is only playable on Steam platform. The refund should apply for all. I understand it will be quite complex but this is not the problem of the consumer/customer.

But they can just say to ask refund from the seller no?

The funny thing is that im not sure if game can be refunded before they remove the owners only tag that when is present it won't show the game into activity when you upload screens etc. and achievement view and comparison. This happened to some games lately like Wolfenstein Old Blood and it took them few days to fix it.

That's why I say it could be quite complex. Idk the agreements with Steam behind these keys. Still, in that stage, this isn't the concern of the customer. You've got a Steam key for a Steam game from GamingDragons. The game is only activated on Steam (not Origin, not UPlay). Steam has a refund policy. The refund is regarding the game, not the numbers of the key you've bought. The numbers worked, the game was activated. The game does not work. Refund.

Managed to try the game and the performance is utter garbage. They should've delayed the game a couple of months for the master race and not release it in such a fucked up state. BA:O got a lot of hate, but compared to this the issues with it were marginal at best.

I would say so. I didn't have any problems with it when I last played it a few months back. It's an okay game too. I finished it along with the dlcs. I think it got negative reviews, because it mostly repeated AC. Asylum IMO remains the best game in the series.

There are some silly bugs (invisible Croc Laughing ) but nothing a checkpoint restart doesn't fix.

Dam, heard this game sucks performance wise. I'm proud of myself for not pre-ordering, but I feel bad for people who spent money and have to deal with this. I now your pain. Rome 2 was the last game I pre-ordered and I got burnt so bad I just can't get a game in advance anymore.

These devs are killing us PC gamers mentally.

We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.
