Dear Batman: Arkham Knight PC owners,

We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards. We greatly value our customers and know that while there are a significant amount of players who are enjoying the game on PC, we want to do whatever we can to make the experience better for PC players overall.

Thank you to those players who have already given valuable feedback. We are continuously monitoring all threads posted in the Official Batman: Arkham Knight Community and Steam forums, as well as any issues logged with our Customer Support (http://support.wbgames.com/). If you purchased your copy of the game and are not satisfied with your experience, then we ask for your patience while these issues are resolved. If desired, you can request a refund at https://help.steampowered.com (Steam refund policies can be found here: http://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds) or the retail location where you purchased the game.

The Batman: Arkham fans have continually supported the franchise to its current height of success, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work to deliver an updated version of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC so you can all enjoy the final chapter of the Batman: Arkham series as it was meant to be played.

Unexpected but damn good news. If they are willing to cut off all future sales on the platform until it's fixed to satisfactory state, it's a sign that they really are taking this shit serious.

Guess that means the 12 monekys are no longer on the WB call list.

Maybe they just pulled the game from PC and will never release it again so ppl will stop bitching at them?

I think that's the first recall for a video game, I may be mistaken though.

Nice work WB

Holy shit Batman, when they promised plot twists for this game, nobody could imagine they'd go this far. Who knows, maybe there's the chance to see the game leaving the pre-alpha phase in the next weeks

Yeah, this is nothing but negligence. They haven't bothered properly testing this. This is basically Colonial Marines all over again.

I just hope publishers won't start dropping PC instead of making a proper PC version in the first place. I'm sure some are scared and some might even be disgusted. It's one of the first time a publisher has felt the wrath of angry consumers after all. We need more of this, repercussion be damned.

Probably a lot of PC delays in the future.

I typed a massive post. Page randomly refreshed. Lost it all. Can't be fucked typing it again. Gist is;

You can still buy the game on Steam. so much for "suspending" sales.
They still brush off the overwhelming negative response with PR spin bullshit LIES like "significant amount of players enjoying it" as if to say the complainers are a minority, not to mention the LIES from nVidia's videos too.

yay. keep those preorders coming.

Perfectly ok with that, as long as they are released in a proper state adequate to the PC master race Smile

I'm not sure that has anything to do with the windows version though. They might just take things a bit more seriously after this blunder.
