ya can try it in options and while playing, i dont remember which key, but i think its C [if not, check in options]

funny how all you people confuse lag with bad framerates. how can the game "lag" if you arent playing online????
Anyway i have a athlon XP 3000 1gb ram and a bfg 6800gt 256 oc and run the game with max settings at 1280x1024 and it runs like magic.

how many cars are in BE and in normal edition? I've got 32, but I heard that in BE it should be 36. Is there any possibility to get those 4 cars?
and...
I can't buy any performance upgrades, there are only Stock availaible. I've already beat Sonny. Is it a bug or I will be able to buy them later?

I have a beefy system.
A64 running at 2.7ghz
x1800xl
1 gig ram
I play at 1280x1024 max everything.
Usually I get between 40-60 fps but once in a while when I'm on the freeway
going really fast 150+mph I will get a slight stutter for 1/4 of a second.
The fps counter doesn't drop, the game just jerks all of a sudden.
If that's what you guys are referring to as the lag than I get it too.
It must be some kind of texture swap ?

FWIK, BE only has 2 extra cars and you can only use them in quick race.

i know what you mean, thats evident in nfu and nfsu2 also.
its like a 200 ms pause every now and again

hmm i have a small problem...everytime i get busted the game crashes to the desktop :/ the sequence where the cops arrest you starts and then the game freezes and the sound just loops with a crash to the desktop, no error message at all...

anybody get to see the alternate ending in the game where after winning against Sonny, you take the girl home and get to see her do a striptease and then screw her, you get to control by using the nitroboost button to spray your cum on her also. This is the special red head edition released by EA and is only available at your local adult store or may be ordered online from Rockstar Games. Hope it is released on the scene soon...

i have thats problem too, but some different way...sometime the game crashes to the desktop, no error message at all...
