Well, she does sort of look like one, especially making that stupid face.
It's really nothing more than a badly trained algorithm. Dark skin, humanoid, eyes, mouth, let's check the database...yep, looks like a "gorilla," label it.
If people understood exactly how difficult image recognition is they'd be less up in arms about stuff like this, but we live in a world full of simple minded people, so no chance of that happening.
