F1 2015 launch is an answer to all those that hoped devs would be more careful with their products at Steam after the refund policy introduction and Batman's disaster.
Nothing is going to change.

There is a safety car in the assets within the game folders - it was just never actually added into the game

Probably in there for 3 years when they started saying they would add it. Most likely can't get it to work because of their rubber banding cheat A.I.

Usually if there is no crack on the release day its very bad news. Maybe it will take a week or so...

Just when I was beginning to think that Codemasters had found the right way (with Dirt Rally), here they arrive with a shameful display. It's like they're addicted to being perceived as incompetent people
It surprises me that many users at the Gabe's forums say "this is unexpected, Codies' ports are often good", when most of the recent F1 games were released in a terrible state (F1 2012 had more than 15 patches if I recall correctly -many of them uncracked, F1 2013 shared a similar destiny, and last year's version got barely any support at all because they couldn't be arsed - and also because it was a lost cause to begin with xD).
Maybe one day our grandchildren will be able to play a proper F1 game with the one button-VR-ready device!

By the time they patched it up the F1 season is as good as over and you start to wonder if they ever get on time with the next one.

It's quite easy to assess how it's going to play out when you have played all the ones that came before 2015 in this series.
It would be like expecting Fifa,Madden or whatever graphic update series you like best... to be so much different.
+there is the steam discussions to actually confirm all the expectations.

Indeed. We are not expecting much to begin with given the previous experiences, but it really seems that they dropped the ball when it comes to the PC version, even more than the usual.
All the sim-oriented forums show the same comments and impressions as well from the people who were insane enough to buy this at full price, of a very rushed port with tons of severe technical and performance problems due to the lack of testing. #PCgaming2015
