This actually looks pretty good Very Happy although I wish it had adult setting and was on STARZ\Cinemax lol

was wondering how long it'd take until someone posted it. i think a while back favreau was attached to direct it as a movie, but then i guess they moved it to a tv show... people always called it a poor mans lord of the rings ripoff, but i think i read the series before i ever read lord of the rings, so i guess for me it'll always have a special place

i look forward to it... enjoyed the books, hope they do a good job with it.

Beautiful scenery (mostly), cheesy dialogues, bad\Okeish acting, OKeish generic fantasy story, nice CGI (harpies looked better than in the trailer imho) for an MTV TV series. If you have nothing else to watch , get popcorn and give it a try


PS Be advised, it got a teen love triangle: the Elven princess, the half-elven descendant of the human king and the human girl Laughing

Pan's Labyrinth Ivana Baquero has disappointed me here. She was really good in that film but in The Shannara Chronicles..Well, I guess she didn't even bother trying lol

It was nice to see Crixus though.

Yeah, the only dialogue scene I actually thought was funny was this one. Just because of his acting. Not exactly an Oscar moment, but yeah. The teenage love drama in the driver's seat.

They do effects and stuff, but when there are no effects it looks like a play some kids put together for school. Very Happy

In episode 4, how many times is someone in a chokehold or similar. Seriously. 4 or 5 times?

someone tell me this is awesome... that its vikings/game of thrones level amazing, because even though ive read the books, as soon as i saw 'MTV' splashed across it a couple days ago, my interest just plummeted..
