with platinum trophy in bloodborne, all main and sidequests in witcher 3 completed, all arkham knight content including the riddles finished as well, and with nothing new i m interested in before mgs5, i think its finally time again to turn on destiny and see all the new things i missed in the last few months. reading up all the stuff about the trials of osiris makes my balls shiver in fear, since i ve most likely turned into a shitty noob after the absence, but fuck if i dont love a steep soul-crushing challenge

Came back to us, it's still fun
Although I've done and looted everything so I will probably step back until the new content is released so I can focus on my backlog.

witcher 3 all the way, none of the rest even touches it, while i loved arkham knight and completed pretty much everything in it, i was glad that i could go back to witcher 3 afterwards for some new dlc quests
it is seriously one of the best rpgs and best written games i ve ever played.

haha! awesome man, sorry but I didn't have much time to play this weekend. I'm actually away on holiday until next Sunday.
Did you manage to find an awesome LFG group to go flawless? Also, what loot did you get from the Mercury chest? Solar Jewel or Void Scholar I hope!
I asked Macello if he wanted to help me get me to 5 wins for the chestpiece. He asked X__XO__O and we started, after 1 match Macello had to go and Rubenov25 joined.
They where very, very good haha. This trails weekend was much harder then the one whe did, whe had very good skilled teams as enemies. I myself couldent get many kills and was more on rez / guard duty. Whe went flawless without using the los boon.
I got void scholar and the Dragon's breath (which i didn't have) from the chest on Mercury. Got a astral horizon shotgun from the package and along the way i got the draught of nectar ship. And i bought the chestpiece and the eye of sol sniperrifle.

Oh, and enjoy your vacation
Oh man nice, Rubenov and XO are GREAT players, I play with those guys every week.
They always help out people in need. Glad you were able to make it, and that void scholar is a very good weapon to have!

so regarding the armor cores i get with my main character from the prison of elders, can i transfer them to a character of a different class and use them to get their class specific light 42 armor?
in that case i could get all 3 classes to lvl 34 within a few weeks with relative ease, unless i am mistaken.

Yup! That's exactly what I did, you will just have to wait each week for the vendor to have a new piece of armor. Also, if you are feeling lucky you can use a armor/weapon core to roll a judgements chance which can give you a random piece in of armor with random stats or a random weapon

had a very satisfying pvp run today with a 12 kill streak:
i dont know what my teammates were doing in this match, but at times it felt like they all dropped out except for me and another guy, and we had to take on the whole enemy squad
its a nice achievement for me, with my still relatively noobish pvp skills, usually my k/d ratio barely scratches the 2.0 mark.
still need to reach level 34, cant wait to give the trials of osiris a try, expecting to be utterly raped.
* There are eight new story missions that Bungie’s calling the “first act” of The Taken King, and then there will be a host of other quests and chains that you can get from various vendors at the Reef and Tower. One example of these endgame quests: Unsealed Paradox, a mission set inside the Vault of Glass that’s all about a certain dude by the name of Praedyth. There’s also the raid, of course; it’s called King’s Fall and Bungie’s hyping it up to hell and back. (So stoked for this one.)
* Lots of little story touches—because what would Destiny be without story?—like the new Nolan North-voiced Ghost jabbering with Eris Morn, Zavala, and other various characters as you play. You’ll also be able to examine random objects during missions for little blasts of lore, Bungie says. Maybe this is how they’ll implement all those grimoire cards?
* They’re reorganizing old story missions too, to better incorporate the stuff from The Dark Below and House of Wolves into the main quest. The reef, for example, will now open up once you meet the Awoken Queen.
* Members of the Taken—the new enemy race—have all sorts of abilities: Taken Wizards, for example, will summon shadow thralls to kill you. Taken Vandals have Titan-Defender-like shields and Taken Captains throw orbs that can temporarily blind you.
* There are four new strikes: Fallen Saber (on Earth; you’ll fight against a super-powered Shank); Shield Brothers (on the Dreadnaught; you’ll take out two Cabal leaders); Sunless Cell (hunt down a Hive Darkblade who rebelled against Oryx); and Echo Chamber (this is the PlayStation-exclusive one; it’s yet another Vex mind). Three old strikes are also getting remixed: Dust Palace, Undying Mind, and Cerberus Vae.
* These new strikes have “raid-light” mechanics, Bungie says; in other words, you won’t just be killing waves of enemies, thank god. And since the developers are well aware of how repetitive strikes are, they’re triggering these new and revised strikes to change up enemies and even narrations on replays, which could be either really great or really irritating. No in-between.
* Year One weapons will go obsolete fast—Bungie says that when you load up The Taken King, you might even find white or green weapons with higher attack values than your poor 365 Fatebringer and Gjallarhorn. RIP.
* You’ll be able to turn in Bounties without going back to the vendor. Game-changer.
* The Gunsmith in the Tower will have his own reputation meter and bounties—work with him enough and you’ll be able to order weekly weapon deliveries, which sound really neat. Once a week you can pay him for a new legendary weapon, which will arrive on Wednesday with a random set of new perks.
* Lots of reputation/material streamlining: Vanguard and Crucible marks are turning into one pool called Legendary Marks, while all class armour materials (like Plasteel Plating) will morph into items called Armour Materials.
* No new vault space yet. Says Luke Smith to GI: “We’re still bumping into a technical limitation for vault space. We are exploring options for getting stuff out of players’ inventories via these kiosks that we’ve placed around the tower, but we’re still working toward a solution that we’re excited about.”
* There’s an exotic pulse rifle called No Time To Explain. Yep.
* Lots of other new exotics coming too, like Sleeper Simulant, a heavy weapon fusion rifle that shoots bouncy laser blasts. You have to do a whole quest line (filled with puzzles, Bungie says—actual puzzles!) to get this one.
* Crucible quest lines are coming, as are new Crucible bounty types. Trials of Osiris will get its own set of bounties, and you’ll be able to play through an array of weekly Crucible bounties that eventually lead you to exotic-calibre rewards. This is in addition to all the new PVP maps (eight!) and modes (three that we know of, so far).
* The Dreadnaught sounds pretty rad, like it’ll be full of more interesting content than most patrol zones that are in Destiny today. Says Smith: “Through your adventuring on the hive ship, you’re going to find a bunch of arcane objects that you can use to summon ultra bosses.” Uh, yes.
It appears that Bungie is gearing up for a PC game. According to this recent job listing, Bungie is looking for a PC Compatibility Tester for a new project. The candidate must be willing to execute complicated regression scenarios using multiple PC configurations, must have deep knowledge of PC gaming hardware, as well as previous experience working on a shipped PC title.
From what we know so far, Bungie is only working on Destiny, therefore it is safe to assume that this game will be coming shortly to our platform. That, or Bungie is secretly developing a new PC game.
dasdasdas
As the job listing reads, the PC Compatibility Tester will evaluate PC hardware-specific features and ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations to provide a great experience.
Activision and Bungie has not revealed anything yet about Destiny coming to the PC, other than that they would love to bring it to our platform.
According to Game Informer, the sci-fi shooter is saying goodbye to light levels. This is huge news, as light levels, which are determined by your equipped gear, are the only way to power up beyond level 20. Now, Bungie is incorporating a system that's purely experience point based. You get experience from killing enemies, completing missions, and seeing bounties through.
The details are a little sketchy right now, but know that your current light level won't be forgotten, as it'll apparently blend into the new system. All in all, this sounds like a real step forward, because previously, you could spend hours playing only to never level up, purely because the game never dropped any decent loot. Now, you'll always be growing, and good equipment is just the icing on the cake.
sounds great, i spent 10+ hrs in the iron banner last weekend to get an etheric light to quickly reach level 34. its good our experience counts towards levels again.
