Yeah, it's not like there are a few bits of this game featuring events in the past and that they couldn't expand on those on a future game.

And really... people can't figure out how some of those multiple endings are going to turn out? Maybe my opinion of some people here is higher than it should be if they aren't able to put 1+1=2 together.

Pointless patch then. I'll wait for 1.08.

well no other update was this large. so of course there were no issues with them unpacking and then installing.

this is why its wise to use the main partition for gaming, not just have it be a tiny os partition. dumbass installers tend to first unpack shit and then install it.

Try unpacking the update with 7zip or something. very likely there is a setup file in there, and the installer is simply a glorified unpacker+ setup.exe launcher.

Hmmm looks like this patch is incompatible with many mods that modify the patch.bundle file. It certainly screwed my witcher armors.

Also, the console enabler doesn't work anymore (until updated I guess), as expected.

I'm getting an error "There's not enough system disk space to install this update".

I have only 4GB free space in my C: Drive. However, my game is installed in another directory which has over 200GB free space.

All the other updates were able to install and work without any issues.

Same problem here, patcher says it needs 7000MB but it launches if you have around 6.5GB free.
So far it used around 6.3 GB space so I'm guessing it's doable below 7 gigs.

edit: Can confirm it never used more than ~6.4 Gigs on my system drive.
Now, after a forceful 2 weeks break from gwent, my weekend is looking better Very Happy

Alternate movement seems quite nice. Also the pop-in seems a bit reduced.

Anyway I'm done with this, at least until october/november Me Gusta

FPS noticably improved for me, especially in Novigrad.
It looks like asset pop in is reduced, but texture pop in has became a huge issue in the city :/

I wish they'd tweak foliage distance in some way. I run that setting on very high since ultra drops me below 60, but there's a few tree LOD's that look straight out of EverQuest 1.

Finally finished, it stayed interesting even after dozens of hours. The most beautiful and best game I have ever played. Not one of the best, just the best. Extremely close to perfection (compared to other games).

@3E74 Delete dsound.dll from the x64 folder, it's an incompatibility with the debug console that causes that.

Delete or rename dsound.dll in the folder where the witcher3.exe is located. That fixed it for me.
Edit: Beaten! Laughing

Also, I got this annoying bug on the Skellige's Most Wanted quest. Fucking thing refuses to die.

The levels requirement for witcher gear increased? I'm level 14 and if I take my feline set out, I can't wear it anymore, same for the swords
