I thought about using my monitor but its only 19 in. i like playing on bigger screens more. Ok i gotta know something though...On the day xbox360 is released there will most likely be people camping outside of stores and shit like Best Buy right? I dont know because I've never got a system on launch date...but what i wanna know is how does that work? Like when they open the store do people just run in or what? Because thats what I want to do. I will run in and push everyone outta my way and grab the first one and kill anyone who tries to stop me.

Yah I know it was but well if I want the console for launch day, I had no choice in the matter. I intend buying the hard drive separately.

I saw that too in my local gamestation. It did look very nice but nothing my 6800GT couldnt do I dont think. I noticed minor slowdown when the player threw in a smoke grenade and then turned a corner into an alleyway full of enemies. It was only slight but noticeable. The 360 was hooked up to a real nice Samsung high defintion flat screen and Im still on an old 17" CRT at home so I could definitely see the differences there. Do you really lose out if you dont play on a high definition television?

I simply don't have the money to get one at the moment plus there are only about 4-5 launch titles that truly interest me.
I think the price for what your getting is brilliant obviously they learnt a lesson from the pricing of the last machine and realised that its about selling as many of these consoles as possible to get a bigger share in the console market, make money from sales of games and by being the first to launch their next gen console take some of Sony and Nintendos prospective customers away.
I noticed that HD TV's seem to be coming down in price as well, I saw one on Dabs for I believe £750, pretty decent make and a 42" wide screen, I've already got a couple of large screen TV's but when I get an Xbox 360 I'll no doubt pick up one of them as well being that its a TV and it'll last for ages and get used for more than just gaming.
How are you going to mod your Xbox Bugulous? Case mod?

ok ok ok ok noone answered me but oh well im just gonna go on a rampage and raid stores on the 22nd.
btw what is the price for the vga adapter thing thats used for playing xbox on a monitor? If it is cheap then Im tempted to get it because I have so many un-used monitors lying around. If I could use them all on an xbox360 I would never leave my little gaming circle of monitors on the floor where I would sit naked and never do anything else.

X360 could be quite good but like the prewious X it has SHITY GAMES, nothing on the console interests me , look at the alredy relased start titles (reviews ona www.ign.com) its a shame they have no real starter killer app. I wait for the PS3 :]

well one reason to buy it is that it will probably be easier to mod than newer revisions of the xbox 360

yeah im an idiot I should have pre ordered it but when I decided that i wanted one all pre-orders were stopped being accepted. So...lol I will hope for the best i will be driving around all night to different stores to try them all. your lucky headshot.

Yo I just got some emails saying my prorders from Futureshop are en route to me ....With all the shortage talk I didn't expect to recieve my order, as I only ordered a month ago.
One problem though the game hasn't been shipped yet...just my luck

Im buying the console with Perfect Dark Zero and then I intend to buy another 2 on the same day. Condemned is definitely going to be one of them and the other will probably end up being Dead Or Alive 4. Not gonna bother with Call Of Duty 2 or Quake 4 as I have them both for the PC.
