Yeah, the characters are pretty much charicatures.

You thought the characters are charicatures. I assumed you mistakenly thought this is how the word is spelled because it refers to characters.
I was simply pointing out the incorrect spelling while making a joke that if charicatures refers to characters, surely the word caricatures refers to cars.
