The extra coins is nice for some early unlocks. Buy the 20k packs (or 40k if you want some new characters, they not just cosmetic, they have a new kind of basic attack)

I earn roughly 10k coins pr match of Gardens and Graveyards, sometimes lower, sometimes higher than that.
Just played some rounds. Really fun casual game indeed! I can see playing this for at least some weeks for some rounds per day.
Playing this for more than a few hours at once gets a bit repetive for me. But only 1-2 hours at once is great

Still enjoying it a lot. No stress game and it's really fun. You would think this is some kind of kids game, but it's not. Luckily they gonna patch the mic always on thingy, because it's pretty annoying to mute them all every single match.
I often play the classic assault mode without any customizations, but the games are often pretty empty (only 5vs5 or so)
Is that classic mode not played often, or what is the reason?

The art style is fucking beautiful. Slick, crisp, and zany! It kind of reminds me of the show Pushing Dasies (anyone remember that? )
The music (especially the end of round scoreboard) oozes No One Lives Forever/Austin Powers vibe, it's great.
It's easy to pick up, with tons of stuff to work for, and absolutely no "pay to win". Surprisingly, I might grab this for $24 off GMG when my 3 day trial is up. Had a blast playing with friends.
