Well they did fix the performance problem for a great majority of uses, as I could confirm with many people I play with online (I wasn't particularly affected). But yeah I guess they still need to make some additional tweaks for the few that are still having problems
I had horrible stutters with my PC. After the latest patch it is definitely better but far from perfect though. I hope they still keep tweaking the optimization because sometimes FPS drops at very strange situations.

I for one am happy with the great quality of the PC version of the game. Performance wise it has been a dream for me especially considering what I was initially expecting
That being said, they still need to learn a lot in terms of netcoding for their future online parts. It's very much playable and ultimately fun but it has many flaws that can be annoying at specific times.
how do i know if i have the latest version of the game (steam version)? i have some annoying mild stutters here and there and i read that 1.28.01 fixes that but when starting the game it displays completely different version numbers
funny how game was silky smooth few patches ago when i played on a GTX780 and now on a 980Ti it stutters. thanks cockstar...
after looking around it appears i have the latest version too bad that doesn't help much. stuttering in bigger shootouts is really bad in missions or with 3+ stars cops. there's steam thread about this issue with thousands of posts.
if only there was a way to play older version, but nope, thanks to everything always online and digital delivered with latest version. the only way to play this game smooth right now is to pirate it
Hmm I used the RLD rlz + some "proper" torrent that makes it into the steam release + 3DM update 5 and crack v4. I had to change their ini to use english instead of chingchong.
Don't know if that's all legit good but it works fine and the main exe's version is newer.
Men, in the stock market when I select a company, it randomly opens a different one than the one I chose, is that a crack-related bug or what? Very strange.

Yeah, that's a problem of the singleplayer. Stored vehicles sometimes disappear without logical explanation. I was relieved to realize it doesn't happen in online (thanks to gps and insurace system I guess). Well at least it hasn't happened to me in around 250 hours of online gameplay so far (I have around 20 vehicles right now).
