No CK3 on the horizons? Damn, that's disappointing Sad

They're going to finish HoI 4 then start pumping DLCs out for that as well. I don't think there's a big title planned after that for a while, probably a Victoria 3 for late 2017 and only a filler for 2016.

As I predicted, they are making a new filler game for 2016 (this time calling it a "major new IP" lol), for the time they'll be patching HoI4 and don't start work on Vicky 3.

According to Paradox forumers, they've trademarked "Stellaris", so it's going to be a space game

The hints so far are:
#1 This will be our first new major IP released since the original Crusader Kings over 10 years ago.
#2 Seven and Three are important numbers.
#3 There will be no stabbing of pigs.
#4 Terrain truly matters in this game.
#5 Game Director is Henrik Fåhraeus, 15 year industry veteran, lead designer behind the Crusader Kings and Hearts of Iron series.
#6 Elections and Technological Development are important parts of the game.

It's going to be a standard game set on Earth, where your Romans battle an alien invasion, using elements from MotE, CK2, Rome and HoI4 and the title will go unsupported after release very quick.

You've heard it here first.

Crusader Kings and its dlc are super cheap over on Nuuvem for the next few days. Conversation rate makes them about (USD)$1.99 each.

Eh what? a talker...what am I not getting (?)

I use Hola VPN to buy off nuuvem and then activate on steam. Works fine. Just added a couple more of the DLC's to the collection. (and also cities skylines for $7 as a gift)

Great game tbh, sucks away hundreds of hours if you are into grand strategies Very Happy

Glad my hours before I owned it on steam don't show up on my profile... would rival the playtime of people playing shooters (same for the HoI franchise). Razz

Not only the game is great, but there are also very well-made mods available. You can even play your own, proper Game of Thrones, to fix RR's massacres xD

The worst thing is that I suck at this game. I tried few times and I still can't get into as deep as I would like too. But game is truely amazing.

I learnt the ck and eu series by cheating the cap out of them and eventually learning what works and what not.

Yup it's the best advice. If you want to put in more time: there are great video tutorials. But even then it is better to have a few games with cheats enabled to learn certain systems one by one. Smile

I hope that you have a big, fat, wallet Very Happy

The game has a frag ton of DLC's. But, of course you can act smart if you want and get the big game + DLC Collection and the smaller ones in a serious sale (like the Christmas sales)

Do not forget to announce the family that you take a long leave of absence from this reality, because, well, Middle Ages needs you. Prepare to be assassinated, to assassinate, seduce, even be an incestuous bastard. What can i say...Middle Ages Twisted Evil

You don't really need the DLCs, any modified gameplay is included in the regular patches. I return to this game every 6 months or so, so a 2$ DLC once in a while isn't really anything compared to the hundreds of hours I've enjoyed this gem.

The new DLC is out now (yesterday)
http://www.ckiiwiki.com/The_Reaper's_Due

Played it a bit yesterday, I noticed that you get now much more easily injured in war Razz

I got injured twice during a war campaign. Lost my arm Razz (other injury did not leave permanent damage)
