I thought it was all about campers. Use the jumpjets to reach some spot and just camp the other team to death using grenades/main weapons. Awsome graphics but it felt like poor mans BF.
Also, the ATAT is...well..pathetic
Yeah, great thing by DICE implementing these default noobtubes you can spam.
To be honest. I had more fun with the Hardline BETA, and that game is garbage. And the hit detection is still shit in Battlefront.
Monkey really? Hit detection is shit?
I hated bf4 hit detection (not played since all these massive updates) in comparison to bf3 and battlefront felt NOTHING like bf4's awful hit detection.
You have to lead a little bit more than bf4 but I think thats normal as you are firing lasers which you can actually see where they are going as opposed to actual guns which have a higher velocity.
If you hit people I always noticed that it would hit. Could be me getting old though and i admit i only played like 20 games. But didnt notice the hit detection as being off.
The noobtubes is a shit idea though. Silly. The timer is like 20 or 30 seconds which means people just dump spam areas constantly with em. I hate all that stuff. Grenades ok, the ones that implode are cool. But you find one every so often from powerups.
Having a 3 grenade launcher every 30 seconds is daft. a squad just dump it into a doorway and its like Metro on bf3 again lol

Yeah that never happened to me and like I said I played quite a few games both at my place and round a mates house. Never happened like that, or if it did it was when my mate was playing and his crosshair was SOOO off the target, "I shot him!" "errrr no you didnt, you cant aim for shit!" lol

The Level Artist of Star Wars Battlefront at DICE, Daniel Cambrand, took to Reddit and answered a fan who, among many others, wanted to know more about the singleplayer mode of the game and the value that it is going to add to the game:
Personally I have found the replay value to be very high. We have had an internal competition at the office where we battled over a case of beer, who would get the best time on the Tatooine Mission that was shown on E3, and we have been playing that Mission over and over and over.
It is really fun, changing your tactics slightly every time and trying new ways, especially when you start to compare round time with your friends and colleagues.
The game is going to bring you a singleplayer mode that is going to be for solo play as well as co-op play where you will be playing alongside bots either online or offline.
After Patrick Bach, the general manager at DICE said that “single-player was never in the plan” and that “it was never the concept,” the comments from Cambrand come in very positive.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
When will these corporate money hungry morons that treat us like idiots will give up the "safe" way of creating games and come up with something NEW (not even dare to say INNOVATIVE)!?
This video/game looks completely utterly boring. And this is coming from a BF player (that favors BF:BC2 and 1942).
The guns seem really shite right now looking at that video, they fire and sound like they were taken right out of bf4 with added tracer rounds consistently firing over the top
Da,Da,Da,Da,Da,Da .. wtf. Have they ever fucking seen a starwars movie.

Probably as soon as people stop prehurrdurring it, good luck with that

We are doomed not to have a proper modern Star Wars game Bob
First they tortured us with Swtor, then broke our dreams with this one, and finally they'll finish the job with the cinematic cover shooter that Jade Raymond is now supervising xD
Star Wars Battlefront is too big to be PC-only, and guess what ultimately suffers? Everything. We get a mediocre game rooted in the past, because the new consoles can't handle bigger battles or more complex mechanics. A "Battlefield" set in Star Wars could have been amazing if the developer held nothing back, but they were given too little rope this time around; just enough to hang themselves though.
