I'm really thinking of getting an e-bike or a wheels with a motor for push biking to and from work when i'm absolutely knackered.
I have a motorbike but the engine has just blown as that will take time.
Just wondering if anyone has been on one?
Or has one?
What is the best one to get?
I want one that goes at least 25 mph, maybe 20mph?
I was looking at this but the battery's for them are anywhere between £200-£300 ffs.
Expensive.

25mp/h?

20-25 km/h should be the limit, if you want to go faster use your muscles. Mostly for your own safety.

lol you can get illegal ones that go upto 60 mph now, they just have gears on the throttle, no tax, no insurance but obvs, will have to keep a look out, ideal went coming home off long roads at nght.
But 20 kh/h, thats about 12 mp/h, meh.

They really needs to improve the life battery, but I guess that global problem with electric vehicle in general.

Got ones few weeks ago, after around 20km I need to recharge..

Electric bikes has so much potential to replace private cars for short distances like going for your local mini market and job and even close town in the 20km distance...

The problem with private cars is there are so many laws that limiting you and you can easily get fined or even your license revoked(didn't happen to me yet), no the mention the terrific and higher risk for accidents...

, but in my country proper roads for bikes are limited and the ones I got are not fitting to ride outside build area and I can't go to the public road outside.. too dangerous to ride with bikes So I still need to use car a lot.

My current ones are Smart Bikes gaps 48..

If you have an idea for future eletric bikes will glad to hear.

Idea: build bike roads with induction charging that constantly charge your bike while you're riding on it.
