its just sad that konami doenst focus on the important things. offline are both fifa and pes good games. but when it comes to online play konami just isnt able to deliver a good and working matchmaking etc. thats the biggest flaw since years. sure master league stuff was great with pes5, but gaming habits changed. playing against ai isnt as satisfying as raping other other people

Haha yeah, the online in PES has always been something else entirely.. I'm pretty sure they redirect all the connections to their Japanese cincilla-powered server twice before starting a match, it's the only explanation for the enormous amount of lag that affects everyone. (Not to mention the archaic interface from the early 2000s)
I still manage to enjoy my offline though, despite some defensive tardness the AI in PES has decent routines in my opinion for some casual fun. Predictable, but not too much. Still, nowhere near close to being realistic of course, but that's a problem with the whole genre where laziness is the key to success

PES 5/WE9 Liveware Edition is the best footie ever created. It had everything. Pace, impressive AI and GKs, fouls (many many fouls). You could play 45 minutes and have 60% of play in the midfield and a 0-0 score. Someone should buy the rights and make a HD version of that game.
Some details look really good but animations could have been better. Ball's movement or spinning looks bit wierd in some situations and defence AI still seem to be quite stupid as it was since forever.

I still dont understand why they are expecting PC players to buy the game when they are too lazy to make it look as "good" as on PS4.
It is like the older days where no big firm thought it would make money sellig there stuff on pc, these days pc gaming is massive, they lose out by not selling there main products on pc.

mh strange ea didnt bought it, but the last one was a dlc and not standalone as in the past wasnt it? maybe its just not economically -> i.e. nobody bought it. think the wc 2014 game was standalone too, but never played it cause it was only on 360/ps3 and nextgen fifa 14 already was released (on console)
but tbh the euro 2008 and wc 2010 worldcup games were standalones but great cause gameplay improvements over fifa.
b2t: did not get any press tickets for gamescom yesterday. other days are out of question for me, too much kiddies and youtube fags. but a friend of mine was there yesterday (long time pes player): he didnt seem impressed (from the ps4 version)
Was that against AI or 2 ppl playing? Its like ice hockey, up and down and a lot of goals. No midfield play at all. Also its almost 100% laser guided passing. Its sometimes intercepted but always aimed with 100% accuracy.
think he was playing against another guy, otherwise he would have talked about if ai now properly taking sliding tackling etc. we will see, demo comes out next week. gonna check it out on my ps4 (pc demo is delayed and hybrid clusterfuck, think i already mentioned that before)

honestly i dont know what they are thinking. maybe they fear mods for consoles via savefiles? when pc and console version would be 1:1 that should be not a big problem
Is it just me or do the keepers look terrible? Especially at the 2-0 goal, he doesn't stretch out, would have saved it easily if he did. He sort of just falls over to the side. And at 3-1 I have no idea what he is fumbling about. Have never liked the keepers in PES, alwasy seem to be bad positioned and other issues. At least I thought the faces looked pretty good. But I can't find much more I liked from looking at a video, looks like I'll skip it this year again though.
true that, only came out on last gen consoles and crappy pc version. though nobody will care about it, but i just cant imagine it takes so much ressources that they need to shut it down
