I wish they would release a server patch FOR LINUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always a windows patch, but none for the linux.....

One silly question, why is it called ADDON instead of Expansion pack or something like that?

What the hell?
Trying to install, it told me that it's updating to 1.1... yet i get a massege of "Patching failed"
and the installation stops... what should i do? this happen to you?

Do you have a cracked version? if so your exe and other files have been modified so the patch will fail.

Do you have a cracked version? if so your exe and other files have been modified so the patch will fail. |
My version is not cracked... that's the thing...
However, i do have patch 1.03 installed - and for that I have only needed a mini image to get the game to work.
Should I reinstall the game without the 1.03 patch?

No blackzerdblack, I also have the original and i'm trying to install on a clean BF2 install , that means no patches, and it still doesnt work

How typical of EA, releasing a beta version of few modded maps under the name of "Expansion Pack".

Nice addon, installed it and saw that it was "updating" my 1.3 to 1.1? or is it 1.03 to 1.1.
Anyway after installing the game succesfully i tried to start it, black screen x2 the CTD...
Tried going through the settings in the BF2 folders, i know i got some problems before with BF2 but the game still didn't start up.
And that's not all, now my BF2 which is original doesn't work either.
x2 times black screen and CTD.
Tried to patch BF2 back to 1.3 but it didn't help.
Anyone got any ideas?
Edit: Uinstalled both games then reinstalled and it worked, but i still have to patch BF2 with 1.3 to se if it works that way.
Worst addon ever...

The stupid game wants to install the addon to C:\, and requires 4,4Gigs free on the C-drive, that's beyond what I can free up, so I'm scrapping this.

it can't be changed to another drive?
