Guys I still haven't played the DLC and I don't want to start over (have lvl 160 char), which yarr version would be best to get? Is there absolutely no way to cheat/hack my old char into the DX11 version? Is the DX11 one even worth it? Looks pretty much the same to me on screenshots.

Yes, it's worth it. Looks better, kind of runs better and the new enemy placements make much more sense, while making playing the game feel slightly fresh again.
As more "importing" your character, I have no idea.

Yeah, lock the game to 30 FPS by Nvidia inspector or its relevant AMD equivalent, or be prepared for a completely broken game. As is common with turd Jap developers, the game mechanics is tied to the frames, not real time, so if you play it on a 120Hz monitor like me, you will "enjoy" these "features":
- while attack themselves are of correct speed, the pauses between them are much shorter, so you will struggle to find openings
- items will degrade faster
- controls will be broken, specifically, guardblock and forward jumping attack (forward + R1 and forward + R2) are almost impossible to pull off. On 30fps its just fine.

yeah i finished it on 60 fps and weapon durability was shit, and some enemies spammed attacks way too much.
must be insane on 120 fps

Weren't they going to fix the issues with the 60fps? And I remember hearing about this at least 2 months back, so still not fixed?

If I recall correctly the fix finally arrived along with the Scholar of the First Sin, with the default version that got updated as well. Haven't touched the game in months though, so I can't confirm if it's really gone. 
30fps were a no-go for me so I ended up playing everything anyway and with the mouse nonetheless, like a sadomaso Dark Souls 2 |

I beat it twice at 60 fps without knowing about the problem. Just think of it as hard mode.

I recently started replaying DS2, specifically SotS edition, this time as a pure non-mage (my previous playthrough was of vanilla and as a pure caster). Some random thoughts/comments:
-somehow I struggle to land the jump-attack and guard break consistently, so I pretty much ignored these two attacks until now
-so far my favorite combo is drangleic sword + the 4wt shield you buy from the blacksmith in lost bastille. I also use dualwield for kicks from time to time, but it seems less safe to me.
-during my first playthrough, I thought that playing as a mage was easier. Now I actually think that playing as a fighter is significantly easier in most situations. I guess that the easiest setup overall would be a mage with enough strength to use a decent shield?
-I like how they balanced the bosses. Some bosses were easy for mage but were actually challenging for my current char (for instance gargoyles); other bosses were very hard for mage (the 3 sentries, lost sinner) but are easy with a weapon+shield.
-Most hated normal enemy with my setup: drangleic knight with spear. I wiped literally at least 8 times trying to kill the first one I encountered - that's more than I've wiped on almost any boss so far.

is there any way to fix 60 fps durability bug without official patch? i downloaded some files from github but it doesnt change a thing, getting weapons broken between the bonfires is pretty annoying
