I was. It was weird.. the framerate was perfect, but the game would randomly hitch and lurch forward, really annoying and completely crippled the game.

FPS counter displayed 100+ but it felt sluggish and stuttered every time my character was hit which made things even more annoying.

Really not worth the hassle unless you like small maps, no recoil, shotgun noobs, killstreak spamming, campers and bullet sponges.

Modern Warfare 1 is still the best of the modern CoDs, and its greatness will not be replicated any time soon considering these games are now marketed to backwards hat wearing, Dorito munching, Mountain Dew drinking, YOLO spamming douchebags.

Apparently the exe is forced on low priority in the explorer, you have to manually set it to normal/high. I haven't tried it yet but I read it helps.

Those screens like I have always thought from watching gameplay are gamma high or something, its like looking at the sun. Makes the maps look even more bland really. A big degradation compared to AW textures and lighting. Or BOPS2.

Tried it. Feels clunky, despite good FPS as posted above by others. Sprint is still just a cosmetic gimmick. They can't much improve it also since maps are small.

What I DO like is that DEMOLITION is back! \o/

It's quite fun. The feel takes some getting used to (especially after my recent comeback to CS:GO), but it's fun. Killstreaks are abusive as hell though.

Seems the game is bugged and is keept at low priority in my task manager.
Switching it fixes the stutters but after the round is over it switches back to low priority.

Same for me. I think optimization is crap. I mean it works OK sometimes, but when I get into firefight, my mouse just bounces all arround or how can I say? Surprised

What a stuttering mess. Rubberbanding like crazy, as per usual with COD, I get killed after turning a corner and I see the guy right after I get shot, but in killcam he was right there.

Horrible stutterring and FPS drops on my rig too. At smoke situations I saw the FPS as low as 7. Smile Yeah I'm testing 4K with maximum settings and no AA but god this game feels heavy even it looks just like BO2.

I noticed in the short time I spent on this that I was often dead the second a player appeared on my screen shooting, leaving me no time to react, but on the kill cam it showed him standing there, aiming and riddling me with bullets for a good while before I die while I stand there like a dummy.

Other times I was snapping to a target as soon as it appeared on my screen, hitting it with at least 10-15 rounds before dying, then on the kill cam it showed me not firing at all.

This is infuriating and one of the (many)reasons I won't ever buy another CoD game until they ditch this antiquated engine completely(like that will ever happen Laughing ).

I'll take Battlefield's hit reg over this crap any day of the week.
