There's a couple of bonuses if you import the GZ save into TPP (Abbreviations yo! Razz ) - http://www.pcgamer.com/prepare-the-perfect-ground-zeroes-save-file-for-metal-gear-solid-5/
(Apparently importing a save file gets you access to the sneak-suit used in Ground Zeroes for The Phantom Pain and you also have the ability to return to Camp Omega, plus any rescued POW's - including Kojima it would seem - will be available as staff for your "HQ" - Mother Base or what it was called.)

There is a link to a near-100% save file in the comments but it's not a full 100% completion since some prisoners are still not rescued and thus won't be available in TPP as "Mother base" staff.

EDIT: Come to think of it I wonder if this will end with "Big Boss" establishing Zanzibar Land or what it was called which would be leading up to and connecting the game with the events of Metal Gear 1 (NES) with Solid Snake and Big Boss confronting one another.
(Thus kinda creating a loop of sorts or how to say.)

Especially since it's entirely focused on big boss unlike the others.

But if he played it now it might kill his eyes. The graphics, when you go back to it, are worse than people will remember it.

Game is already a Time Paradox as I think someone would have noticed a robot hand and big shrapnel horn or scar on Big Boss in any of the following games or is this some George Lucas trickery going on in the story telling.

Yeah who knows what Kojima might have done with the ending, I just saw that as a way to tie it all together but it's probably going to be something completely different, unsure if there's going to be any sequels too or what's planned though they might still leave the ending open for more content, we'll see I guess.

And yeah though I don't remember if we ever saw Big Boss in any game besides MGS4 that hand and shrapnel definitively hadn't been mentioned before. Very Happy
(Don't exactly remember what state his remains were in after Metal Gear 1 as Solid Snake kinda blew the place up - after almost killing Big Boss in a firefight which I think you fought with a flamethrower though I don't remember much of the original NES game - but you see part of them in the fourth Metal Gear Solid game briefly as I remember as they get loaded on a boat.)

Who knows, with a Metal Gear Title the twist could be the most absurd shit, like him being mind-controlled into creating Outer Heaven or something like that, or, hell, a formerly unknown clone did it. Or Aliens. MGS didn´t have aliens yet, did they? Very Happy

It's not non canon either. It is just of lower canonical value compared to the other games that were written and directed by Kojima but it was still referenced by the main series (PW opens with a direct reference to it and MGS4 uses artwork of the game during several of its cutscenes).

Having said that it's very much of an "optional" game to play for both story and gameplay reasons.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."

"a phenomenon."

I bet kojima is doing some of his crazy misdirection antics with these recent trailers. At face value they seem to reveal almost too much. Don't forget what he did with mgs2. Guys sneaky as fuck

Don't really agree with that. It actually holds up quite well imo. Replayed it a year or so ago.

Yeah man, it's so spoiler-ish it must be misleading Mr. Green Yeah even the 360 HD Collection, MGS3 looks better than other titles, even being older than them. Hell, even Peace Walker's HD version was trying hard to get rid of the PSP look and nearly did it.

My fucking fault for reading reviews before the premiere. Just so you know - read no fucking review :/

Also is it just me or is anyone else emotional about it being the final (probably...) Kojima MG? The 2014 trailer with the song "Nuclear" really makes my eyes...um...shine ("a shining light for our brothers in arms", lol).
Ending to an era with a really BAD fucking ending (the falling out between Kojima-San and Konami) doesn't help with the feels.

Well, 5 more fucking days of feels.

@wawrzul Wait if you can, until the 31st isn't very long, just go and do something useful, worked here. Started reading books again (NO NOT EBOOKS) and it's very relaxing.

Yeah, i've got a book about The Doors i intend to read. Or maybe i'll play some more Shadowrun.
Or maybe i'll get drunk and watch the fucking trailers again. Oh, the goddamn feels. Heart of broken glass, defiled.

The pain, the pain, the PAIN!

EDIT: Oh and what's polyshit have to say about "sexism" (but of course!) in MGS V?
Quote:
Quiet is treated differently than other characters by the direction of the game's camera, too. During cutscenes, the camera sometimes pauses for a beat to focus — or straight up lingers — on Quiet's breasts. In one shot, we see it slide down the barrel of her sniper rifle, take measure of her cleavage before slowly rising up to her face. The camera framing puts her exposed body on display unnecessarily more often than not, whether we're looking down at Quiet's chest or gazing up at her bottom. Worse, a game event that hints at her being sexually assaulted felt more like a hamfisted plan to remove Quiet's pants just before she metes out gory revenge against her attackers. The Phantom Pain treats its few other female characters in a similar way, zeroing in on their jiggling breasts and panning across their asses in a silly, oversexualized way. It's distracting. It's annoying. It's tiresome.

It's like talk about "sexism" is a bullet-point for their reviews. Story, gameplay, graphics, sexism, audio. Jeez. Political correctness is so long-fucking-time-ago's.

However one thing was cool in the review - your fighting team from mother base can be used to disrupt shipping helmets to soviet/enemy soldiers. Nice.

@Harry - u pre-ordered the game? I wonder where can i buy it the cheapest but with MGS GZ (don't have it on steam).

@wawrzul Yep when it was still around 28-29€, Gamingdragons still seems to be the cheapest. Don't think GZ is included with that though.

They ran out of stock with that lower price. Apparently distributors have seen that the game sells well so why not to rise the price.
