i have a problem i cant see the rivals movies in the game it ignores them and jumps to the loading screen its been that since 6# blacklist rival somone know what tha problem is Very Happy? thx

The problem isn't really the competition from my point of view. It's they way they have given you more competition. Sometimes when you get a huge lead, you can actually see the other cars behind you going through the course on the map in the speed of a damn MIG29, that sucks. Besides that, this game is quite fun. Though nothing beats Gran Turismo 3...

Anyone know if there is a tuning guide out for this game?

So far I've been able to figure out

?? [ - steering+ ] ??
?? [ - turbo + ] ??
longer burst [ - nitro + ] short burst
more speed [ - handling + ] more handling
better center of gravity [ - ride height + ] worse.. (is there any reason to go high?)
better traction [ - areodynamic + ] better speed(?)

Anyhow, these are gueses for the most part.

Otherwise, I agree with some people about the 'rage' factor of this game. I'm really tempted to smash my keyboard once in a while. I hate that you can get in a 45 minute chase with NOTHING to show for it execpt a loss of cash and bounty -- horrible game design.

Yeah, i don't understand. Sure it's really wierd when you have the best car in the game tuned to the max doing 380km/s and the rivals cachup to you. But i havent ever cheated on this game and im on blacklist nr 2.
It's not impossible, just really hard Razz and annoying

There is safe houses to drive to, they will stop the cop chase.

As to the catchup i dont mind it.
I find it more satisfying when i 'just' win rather than win by 300odd meters Smile


Ps. The lambo rocks.
Although once i can get my hands on the Ford GT (GT40) im hitting on that....then use the carrera gt for messing around with the cops Very Happy

Macknu...what game are you playing?! All of your advice has either been completely obvious or completely off the mark...

Anyway, the fact about catch-up is when the CPU makes a mistake that SHOULD cost him the race (or her in Izzy's case) but doesn't, is unfair and a poor way to make the game harder. I don't know about you, but when I tune my car to make sure it handles perfectly and races great, I like to know I've dominated my competition. I'm up to BL10 and the street races are much more challenging, if only for the fact their cars are leagues faster than mine. And when I get ahead, I stay ahead. It makes me wonder if catch-up only applies to BL races to make them feel more "dramatic".

Regardless, plenty of racers can make the game interesting without resorting to cheap AI tactics like catch-up. GT series to name some, though the level of simulation in that one scares most of you noobs away Hell if half of you know what an apex is without looking it up on wiki. Or camber, or differentials...lol anyway

Hey, look at how badly I raped the Lancer Smile I can hear Mitsubishi cursing me after this lol. Why is it there are NO good kits for the Evo??
