BUT i wouldnt mind if i could play windowed at 1080 (even if its upscaled from 720), but thats unfortunately impossible because i have no control over even being able to set a playable resolution for the games windowed mode.

Open config and try setting

FULLSCREEN = no

RESOLUTION = 1920x1080 or whatever resolution you want to use in this mode

Actually.. just change resolution, leave fullscreen mode on..

did not know you could type a specific resolution in there... it only listed 3 toggles i didnt expect i could manually set it... well thats great then.

I wanted to wait but the idea of playing something straight from the 90s was tickling me so much that I couldn't resist..
Me Gusta 100% old-school classic point and click adventuresauce, no handholding whatsoever as the tradition dictates (I'm already stuck, aimlessly trying to figure out how to start the spacetram, but I'm not going to check anything because I must suffer like John).

Sanitarium's influence is definitely noticeable, although with a strong heritage from classic horror sci-fi too (Alien, Event Horizon etc.) which gives the game an amazing eerie atmosphere.
I really like the art-style/design too, the backgrounds and their attention to details, though it's a shame that as you guys have mentioned their resolution is..very 'old-school' as well. Sad Razz I guess they went for the full-nostalgia mode!

I don't mind the graphics at all, however the sound editing is complete shit. The voice of the protagonist's kid for example. Horrific.

Wish this was done (same style, mind you) with higher production values.

Ah, how I miss conspiracy adventure games. Some of the oldies were so fucken' good!

thats because... at least in my opinion, its not a puzzle game. the puzzles are just there to give you a little something to do, not stump you... i think we're here purely for the atmosphere and story.

The game forces you early on to read the pda/journal entries to find out puzzle solutions. About 20% relate to a puzzle solution and the rest vaguely detail the shady dealings the company is involved in...

1 and 2 are still amazing.

It's a very atmospheric game but I got stuck near the start due to a bug in path finding. At the very start when I tried to walk into the auto doc, it didn't work so i thought it wasn't possible. After an hour of searching, I decided to try a walk-through and was annoyed to see that you had to walk into the auto doc after all.

The rest was pretty smooth over-all although I'm not a fan of "click an item multiple times for it to work" puzzles like the time you had to turn a wheel.

well thats wierd, because i made the assumption i had to smash the thing pretty quickly because id just picked up the thing to smash it, and it seemed like a big glowy obvious thing

but i agree, the moon logic of what was inside it, really did make me smack my gob... but i think thats generally how these games are.... im digging the flavour text so much that these little cliche 'puzzle game logic' things don't bother me as much as they would in a game that isnt as engaging.

The feedback you get, is that the wheel is stuck - not that you're turning it three times. I thought it was simply stuck and I needed something to loosen it or to improve my grip. I tried the wet rag, then tried to find a way to dry the rag, etc etc.

no it was in a log somewhere, the maintenance guy or whatever he was, said he had to turn it 3 times to get it to work.

Yes I know but like I said, when you tried to turn it, the guy sounded like it wouldn't budge. Not budging and trying to turn it three times and *actually* turning three times is a very different thing.

Guys. Trying objects multiple times is like an old adventure game trope, you just do it automatically with some items.

The flow of this game was very good, I was never stuck for more than 5 minutes. I wouldn't say I was challenged, but let's just say that the most frustrating part was a locker I didn't notice, and had to go pixelhunting for a couple of minutes near the middle of the game.

There is promise in this team, and I loved reading all the stuff.
