I recently built a modded XBoX with the Xecutor 3 chip & X3 control panel which has 2 USB ports on it.
Has anyone tried plugging in an external USB hard drive to see if it can be read by Dashboard or some other XBoX program?

External HDD's are not possible on the xbox. The USB ports are for flashing and/or use of USB mouse/keyboard if you are running linux on your xbox.

Oh no... 60cm... Razz

FYI I am using a 25m crosscable from my bedroom to my livingroom... And smack a 2-300gb HDD into that xbox... Very Happy

crosscable for your PC straight to XBoX? Going to run the 60m & then crimp the connectors as straight-through for XBoX -> switch -> pc
Nice console - going to wait on 360 until its fully cracked ;-P
