Two of my closest friends committed suicide in the last 2 weeks Sad They were a couple. Yesterday my friend got the wedding rings they had ordered, i guess that shit must have broken him up so completely that he couldn't take it. Sad

One thing i've learned from having depressions is that you really must stop the dwelling very quickly to not get even deeper into it. Easier said than done of course, but it's really the no.1 most important thing. My friend did the opposite, dragged himself deeper and deeper into it, opening up the wedding rings (huge mistake), obviously causing tremendous trauma.

When i was depressed earlier in my life (20-30) i did this all the time, dragged myself deeper into it, dwelling on things, trying to find things to be even more depressed about. Strange as it may sound it's a comfort but that's the shit that will kill you.. stay safe all..

Ah man. Sad

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

The original post just goes to show that this is true:
