Brilliant job by the designer, +2XP
I've been keeping the movie under my radar since the announcement, it looks very entertaining. Hope The Guardian isn't right!

Awesome movie. Tom Hardy gives a stellar performance, especially as Ronnie! I loved it. My only complaint is for an 18/R rated movie the violence is quite tame. Maybe there will be an uncut release.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Not the same movie?

Seems odd in the same year the Krays have two movies. It looks the same but Tom Hardy not mentioned in credits.
Not has highly related as LEGEND though.

This is not the first time something like this happens. I mean a cheap\no-name(as in made by some small studio) film being released just weeks or days before a blockbuster. I remember the same happening with Hansel & Gretel and other films. I think it's pretty obvious why the do it

Watched this last night. I love gangster stuff and violence, but Legend was just an average film.

The Rise of the Krays was started on before the makers knew anything about the blockbuster "Legen". With that said, I watched "The Rise of the Krays" and didn't finish watching it. It was pretty boring and skipped around as if it was a trailer.

Haha yeah, one naively thinks, 'pfft. I can handle the u wot Hardy accent'...nope
Especially Ronnie, without subtitles I was completely lost (my listening skills are already quite poor by default, since as soon as there's some minimal amount of dialect, I panic - so this was like hell xD).
I definitely enjoyed the movie though, the acting and especially the fact that it didn't take itself too seriously. Always fancy some dark British humour.
