Xqemu
For those that are looking for an Xbox emulator, your best bet right now is Xqemu. Espes has been working on it and he has already managed to run some homebrew and the dashboard. It can’t run any games yet, but it’s very possible that with more support things will progress a lot more quickly than with DxBx or CxBx. The approach taken by Xqemu is completely different from DxBx or CxBx as it is doing low level emulation. You can visit the project on Github.
Running Xqemu is easier on OS X than on Windows, Linux support shouldn’t be difficult to add, but it’s not there yet. For more info read the Xqemu Github wiki.
If you’d like to try to run it on Windows here’s a slightly outdated (although possibly still working) guide.
After blueshogun stopped working on dxbx, Espes and JayFox actually went off and started working on their own, which is this. Blueshogun sometimes "drops in" to help with some issues, but XQEMU is definitely their baby and not his, something he's quick to point out since many people keep crediting him. This is interesting. I can't wait to see this take shape and improve performance, I truly miss the original Xbox and can't wait to play JSRF again

I had many fun moments on my hacked Xbox games in the day. GTA VC also looked slightly better on Xbox than on PC I found - I played it for many many hours on my TV in my bedroom.
Other than that, there's plenty of games to play, some of which don't run well on modern PC hardware so an Xbox emulator is always welcome.
Hopefully it will get in-game Status Soon enough. the Emulation status is getting very very similar to Dolphin/PCSX2 at early days, and here lots less games to emulate...

I have to say, I'm *astounded* at the emulation quality right now. Performance is terrible (sped up 5x and still too slow to be considered playable) but there's very little visual degradation, no SPS, no missing major geometry. It actually reminds me a lot of Chankast, the DC emulator that appeared out of nowhere and ran everything looking great. I hope they continue to push optimisation.. looks like we'll finally get a properly working Xbox emu.
.... though they are saying the Windows version is a lot slower than the Mac
It also sounds super complicated to get it working.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
ERROR: "gcc" either does not exist or does not work
The previous steps I did I saw they did download gcc so I have to guess it hasn't been set up or whatever.

Has anyone played Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes on Dolphin? I'm trying to figure out why the game sometimes feels a little sluggish even though the FPS counter never dips below 60. For example in the armory if I use first person mode and look down the hall it feels like 40 or 50 fps for a couple seconds before smoothing out. I'm using the latest developer build and I've tried messing with all sorts of options in both opengl and directx modes.
-edit the culprit was either Idle Skipping or Dual Core, I disabled both and now the game runs smoothly.

Are there any good arpg console games that work properly emulated? Something ps1 era and beyond. arpg being something similar to diablo hack/slash/loot.
Are there any properly emulated racing games with substantial depth regarding upgrades and models such as Gran Turismo or Tokyo extreme racer?
But at least it seems to be on "In-Game" state,fully graphcial,but slow and no sound;
I remember the Talk about how PC version inferior to the PS2 version, especially emulated one.
I think we are getting close now to the moment, when we can actually compared Xbox vs PS2 version on High res,and then all the "three" original versions.
I think XQEMU's developers are focusing right now getting as much Xbx games to work, hopefully the next step will be fix the sound and improve speed.
