There's always two sides to the coin, some people certainly deserve it because they use the cash not for themselves but for doing good to others, it's similar to the Minecraft Modders/Streamers, doing that full time and setting up that charities/giveaways, coding and so on.
But there's always black sheep that profit from others without hesitation to go jump on that train.

Seems that YT now made changes to it's policy.
Now people ain't even allowed to make product advertisement within the video (like verbally or banner you can click on for example), without paying YT a part of that..

EDIT: Maybe it's because the YT network they belong to has the rights to do that.

After being reminded about the Content ID, it reminded me why i haven't bought an HD Capture Device (Avermedia like) to begin with nor now and possibly never...(Waste of time / money / offerts for nothing in the end due to C.ID)
I've had a case where i recorded in-game ROCK BAND gameplay songs by me and after minutes or even days the vid got silenced or simply removed...HOWEVER, other people POSTING THE SAME SONG yet different gameplay (ofcourse) HAVE NO TAKEDOWN PROBLEMS FOR YEARS
And my question is: WHY JUST ME (and some other people?) ??!
I know, NOT ONLY ROCK BAND but also other games out there.
Sorry YT/Google, but this ain't going to work. (Dunno about Twitch but still it SUCKS)

Pitchshift the audio by like 1 cent. It doesn't get flagged then..and unless you played your audio and the real audio, and flipped back and forth you cant tell its different.
I got hit with it using 'hard knock life" on a video..that fixed it.

when you watch someones clip, does your view adds to the persons video the moment the video starts, even if you don't stay and watch it all ?
...i mean do you need to watch do whole video for the view to count, or doesn't matter ? , once you clicked the view is his ?

View counter updates once you visit the pages.
The actual "watch counter" triggers from 30 %or 50%, can't recall.
You o not generate revenue if you have ad-block, only blank views.

I don't pay heed to any you tube reviewers opinions. So maybe I'm in the minority. However I do often check out the games to see them running via the tube. (especially in regards to indie and humble bundle games) Just the dorks opinions about the games I don't usually give a shit about. My reasoning is that the more well known reviewers aren't actually very good at playing the games, so I dismiss what ever they have to say about it as irrelevant. :/
