Spy 3/10

What an absolute shit movie. Razz
I gave it a chance since people were so positive about it, they even said that Mccarthy wasn't doing the same character for once...

Well let's start of with her: first half of the movie you'll see the Mike&Molly version of her and in the second part it just goes back to her loud mouth act.

Humor was crap and way too repetitive. Even the shit load of fucks felt out of place, so over used. The way they did it was like you were reading a post from supermax. Razz

Jurassic World 6.5/10

It didn't suck as much as I was expecting from some reviews here. Actually, it was quite enjoyable and the general pace is fast enough to ignore some dubious moments.
The biggest facepalm moment is obviously the moment the 2 kids decide to go off-road.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

I didn't expect much before but holy shit, this movie is just so good.
Blunt (not the actress) and with a slice of murica-fuck-yeah. Shows how fucked things really can be.

Turbo Kid - 7/10
I was pretty scared that this movie will be shit because of all the negative stuff people said here but it was pretty awesome.
First of all: I loved the music. It was just sweet, sweet 80's electro that hit all the proper strings in my brain. The costumes was really well made and had that Mad Max/Fallout/Wasteland vibe, definitely had not felt low budget.
Michael Ironside delivered, wasn't cheesy and campy and didn't overact like some guys in b-movies. Was properly evil.
But the highest point of the movie was the gore. They hit the spot, it was over the top, cartoonish and funny. It tingled my B-movie heart that felt in love with it while watching Evil Dead 2.

And I think it was first postapo movie were people traveled riding bikes! Big kudos for that (but probably many people didn't like it because it didn't look postapo).

I think the weakest part of it was the script being mediocre at best.

Overall it was a proper B-movie that didn't offeneded me with crappy CGI, infantile dialogues (but they weren't that great either). Overall I recommend it.

And Laurence Leboeuf has most beautiful eyes I have ever seen <3

Fullmetal Alchemist:The Conqueror of Shamballa

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood:The Scard Star Of Millos

Both 7.5/10.0

Finally decided to Watch both.

Conqueror of Shamballa is the more "slow film" and not as good as 2003,but it's nice it has some nice elements, despite taking the 2003 anime even further then the Original manga it is still has some elements from the manga while it was still ongoing so I still liked it ,and final goodbye for 2003 Series.

The Scared Star Of Millos is Brotherhood Side Story.

a lot more action picked, even for BY fma standards for both series,it has interesting story and nice Plot twist.
but for some degree feel like there could be done bit more Polish.

Sicario - 8/10 - been really looking forward to this and it didn't disappoint.

corruption, tactical shootouts, drama - it had it all, well shot film and some great performances from Blunt, Del Torro and Brolin - definately worth a watch..

Tomorrowland - 6/10

A strange one. I liked the characters, especially the little girl (no pedo), and the movie certainly managed to sweep me up with its gorgeous visual and unadulterated sense of fun, but the story was extremely lacking. They built up so much mystery in the first two acts that the end was overloaded with exposition and felt really underwhelming.

Judy Greer must surely win the prize for the smallest ever role in a movie Laughing

It's a shame it flopped so hard at the box office, as now the studios will be even more terrified of producing anything original.

Jurassic World

Completely predictable movie filled with plot devices and lazy writing. No interesting characters whatsoever, not even likable really. Sure, Pratt is ok, but not even a smidge more than that. Totally phoned in movie in every regard, ugh.

Sicario

Now this I loved. Loved the cinematography with the amazing score. Del Toro puts on a great performance and is just great. Really want to see it again.

Nope. I was almost certain from the first trailer. But I needed to experience the train wreck that it is by myself to confirm.

Going Clear: Scientology - 8.5/10 - a lot of "da fucks" when watching this one. It was funny to see Cruise's interview, I didn't see it before. Either he was high, or he knew it was all bullshit. That freaky laugh sure seemed like a "I'm telling pure BS at the moment" laugh.

tomorrowland. ugh.

the movie had three things... clooney, youngest girl, teen girl. clooney and the youngest girl made for a great movie... but that teen... she needed a face slap. surely mistakes were made in her selection for a pin... how she couldn't seem to grasp the concept of moving in the real world while using the pin, i just cant fathom. and the freaking out... the endless, IRRATIONAL freaking out... she utterly dragged the film down so hard. its like watching a really great film, and then it occasionally stops so that rebel wilson can show up on screen, doing her annoying laugh, and waving her arms around pretending shes funny, before the movie resumes... having that happen every 10 minutes is basically what tomorrowland was like.

5/10. decent core of a film, 66% of the core cast did great. 33% managed to ruin 50% of the experience. *slow clap* well done.

Some very funny jokes (more one-liners), but way too few. The court stuff is really, really boring.

Tomorrowland 6.5/10
So much potential wasted. 2/3rd of the movie is pretty good, actually. But it falls flat on its face during the final act.

It Follows - 4,5/10

There are many reasons why I (try to) stay away from horror flicks these days, and alas this is one of them. Razz Sad

The only thing that kept following me after watching the movie was a giant, naked green pear, with the crazy fetish for rubbing obvious metaphors in my face.
