its pretty normal here though to have bikes take the space on the side, police wont even do anything about that its common practice here. He only cut properly infront of of the car when he started tooting his horn and getting all shitty because a bike passed his side. Even then it was not like he was going at speed he was just crawling for position. He was probably having a bad day with the misses that is why she said fuck all the whole time later.

Navigate the roundabout is a better way of trying to say what was to be said yes, not "take the turn" Either way unless he has already crossed the threshhold onto the roundabout he has the right to take as long as he wants.
