Well Mother Base is a bit of a sausage fest or how it's said, I have like what, one or two female soldiers (And Quiet.) and then a thousand or so male dudes.
The almost-homo "interaction" between Snake, Ocelot and Miller further cements this (And the daily bullying of Huey. ) though at least the Mother Base staff appreciates Quiet.
(Despite a bunch of crude drawings near her "room" and Kojima's attempt to show torture and other forms of abuse which comes across as a bit forced and half-assed but eh age ratings I guess and other issues.)
EDIT: I don't really mind Quiet's outfit, if anything the female "XOF" snipers were worse although it all comes across as a bit humorous rather than offensive though Kojima makes for a terrible cameraman.
(Besides Quiet has two clothed outfits you can unlock and you don't have to bring her with you, if anything D-Dog is more helpful with his radar like ability to detect everything.)

They come far too late though. I didn't even realise there was a second one until I was more or less done with the game. Kojima probably could have mollified a lot of critics by making them unlockable from the start, although that would have further undermined the supposed reasoning for the naked getup (which they never do address once you can actually unlock the clothes).
sniper wolf outfit is the way to go, hell i wish the character was a young sniper wolf instead of quiet, the timeline and location would kinda fit too without further retconning.

Yeah I like that outfit better than the naked look to be honest, but I didn't even know that it was a thing until it was too late.
As to the family tree, that would require an even bigger twist to work since (end game spoilers)

Venom Snake isn't actually Big Boss and thus not the "father" of Solid/Liquid/Solidus. Besides, even if Venom was the real Big Boss, that would make Solid more like an uncle or something, seeing that he is a clone and thus really more of a twin brother than a child.

Apparently from what I read Sniper Wolf would be around 4 years old or so during this time period, but why not.

He could retcon her age. He has done it before. In MGS2 Liquid Ocelot says Big Boss was cloned in his "late 50s" and in the very next game we learn it happened when he was 37. A ~20 year long retcon.

If this naked girl was a squad member in a more realistic game (ARMA2, ARMA 3), maybe i would be bothered.
But this is MGS 5 we are talking about : the game where you use cardboard boxes to sneak around and get fast travel, and where you fulton tanks and sheep, and you have a robotic arm that can do wonders, and you can open fuckin wormholes. And the wormhole fulton is researchable after you capture a damn legendary jackal (and no one seems bothered by this, btw).
The point is : the game does not have a serious, realistic tone to begin with. Why people cry and are so aggravated for having an almost naked sniper, i'll never understand.
