Won't you play on pvp Yondaime? - I have to take a short rest between pvp encounters lol the old ticker goes nuts.. But so far not lost the one on ones I have encountered.
Lots of cassians here in malgrave it seems  think everyone is rolling or had rolled dominion. |

Reached level 10, started to have fun, now I can't log on any character.
PvP server fills the loading bar, throws me back to the character select screen.
PvE server doesn't reach the loading bar, simply throws me an error message: "We dropped the cryo pod. Sorry about that".
The best I can give is: if you get inside the server, don't try to join an instance. It fucks everything up, other people have ran into the same issue.

Well they went F2P because it wasn't as popular as they calculated it to be... so they are running with the infrastructure that makes sense for an MMO that is not doing super, just well enough to keep running or a bit extra.
F2P comes and everyone and their mother wants to try it out, because: FREE! Even the people that left it or didn't like it much. Hence: a whole lot of problems capacity wise.
Usually F2P brings this kind of shit in the short term, avoid it by playing a week or two after the new launch.
If the big hitters can't deal with capacity problems than you know these types of games have no chance at all.
So: lower your expectations

btw if you have a queue just click server select and reselect the server....gets me instantly to char select 9/10 times

What a disaster. Out of the 10 or so times I tried to login at random times in the past few days I was able to play twice. One of which I got kicked out after changing zones and couldn't get back in.
MMO's never learn.

No I have only seen one maintenance msg the other night that told me with a countdown timer in the chat box. Otherwise I have been fortunate that when I play/chose to etc I have not had the problems but since f2p launche with one que wait of #28 that took 1 mins to get in.

There are issues for many I am sure but that does not mean again that just because someone can be one of those people with problems they should just follow like a sheep and run off a cliff shouting its shit I can't get in, what a joke, etc etc..
People should go do other things if its not working for them and come back later when it is? Or maybe they have one of those personalities that they must be first!!! and they must not let others get ahead!!! or fuck you my mates are playing but I can't 
The only reason its a problem for people when they see such things written in a good light, is because of frustration nothing more
Take a chill pill I say and play one of the many other hundreds of games till it gets sorted for you.
ps. People will wish the dev's well if things are fine for THEM etc because its working for them, if it was not working they would be saying shit like well fuck you and its shit and oh yes just like what we see a fair amount of the time spoken eh
Same old human behaviour, when its shit you complain, when its not your supposed to shut up and not be seen to say anything, so why can't people that are having fun and playing say great things about it?

Best to never check those official forums bob. They say MMORPG.com is a hell... fuck that, official forums are the worst 
Been like that for every MMO game, I could stomach the SWG forums but even that one had a high fanboy feel to it. Tho it seems these days it's nearly all forums that suffer from this.

Nah, I actually think it has more to do with gaming being way more popular to the common crowd these days. Means you end up with a different mix of people.
Let's face it, most of us old timers were 'tech' people from a young age. These days you can be as dumb as a brick and you can still get on the internet with your latest gaming laptop, phone or over priced pre-build PC.
So... entitled, not really. Just a whole lot of different kinds on the web these days.

Well they seem entitled when saying shit should be working NOW etc or believe unforseen issues are something a dev team is not allowed to have happen, meh.

It was already mentioned several times: Carbine had no fucking plan it seems to this transition. I mean how unexpected it is, that many people are trying to play at a f2p relaunch?!
Also just take a look at those Tweets. A fucking server restart or maintenance like every few hours to fix the repeating lag/login problems. This relaunch obviously is way above the skill level of the current responsible admins and devs.

Nope, only played like 10 days during the beta before I got bored of leveling, never touched it anymore after that.

While lags and connection problems pissing me off, it's true it will be fine in a week or soon.
Will start a new character as other pointed, lotsa stuff changed and it's too overwhelming to simply continue where i left off.

I had 33 boom boxes also to use still using them down to 24 or so now. Had them when I subbed before f2p launch as well and after. I don't btw remember having any before hand as I never qualified for them. |
