Maybe, but hiding in a cardboard box and putting various posters on it to distract / stealth around enemy soldier is at least on the same level of idiocy, if you take the game seriously. Yet i don't hear (m)any complaints about this.
I think they just have to add an option in the menu (like Witcher 3 has for outfits), so you can switch her to a more covering outfit. A burka, if needed.
PS : just to clear things, i'm not some Kojima worshipper - actually this is the first MGS game i play. It's just that i don't find what's the big deal with Quiet's char design, in a game full of goofy/unrealistic stuff.

They clearly dont know the japanese culture, this is really fucking mild lol
Can you imagine if metal gear was fully japanese oriented with a touch of classic manga imagination.
Fuck there would even be tentacles and raping scenes.
Im begining to wonder if these neogaf kind of people even properly fuck with their gfs or wives, they find everything so fucking offensive and disgusting, they cant even take it as what it is, a fucking game.

Anyone getting strange fps drops sometimes when having everything maxed out?The game looks really good but not that good to have this happening..Shadows and effects set to extra high seem to have a noticeable performance hit..

True, i once tried to know more about the more common, daily culture, then i saw picture of parks full of girls dressed as dolls with a bunch of weird fucking shit, i went back to mangas.  But seriously, do you need to know anything other than their mangas to get a picture of how open they are? Of course, in relation to the games in this case metal gear.

Yeah I had that since day one. Seems to happen regularly just after I jump out of the copter usually. I did occur some other times too, but turning of the motion blur seemed to improve it a little.. although I'm not entirely sure tbh as it's still happens, maybe just wishful thinking on my part.

turn effects to high and see what happens with that because on extra high the particle count seems to bugged. I also had the fps drops when dropping out of the chopper/Quiet jumps around.

Aside from a few hitches when first loading in a level, it was pretty consistent for me most of the time. I did have a few big framerate hits though, especially with particle effects, the most dramatic when
 Spoiler: | the hover tank thing is unveiled and there is a bunch of particle effects around the rail gun. |
That dropped me down to single figures for most of that scene.

Before the cure i just saw like 15 of my men die but that's all. Now all of them are cured and half of my men just disappeared. |
All that platforms in MB are now 5-6 lvl downed. i'm so fucking frusrated right now.

But that particular event doesn't affect your real staff, it just prompts you that "staff member has died" but at least for me I checked to make sure and I still had the same number of staff afterwards and no base levels had been lowered.

EDIT: Oh and yeah I didn't check the common denominator either so I lost more in that first event than I did in "that"
(Some 300 versus like 15 or so, glad I rushed that and "only" lost like 1/3rd in total. )

After having fiddled around with the game for ~40 hours i finished the game and was just left with a giant WTF.
While i enjoyed the game overall, that is one special story..
I only played one the first games on PS1 though, but i had read a "What is going on" thing before i started the game, and this is just one complicated universe.

I think tomorrow is the console versions, the PC version is expected to debut in January.
