transgender doesn't necessarily mean post-op transsexual, and in that time period there were certainly men\women who would fit into transgender category.

It all depends on how they'll do it.. but seeing as it is Ubi I guess it will be cringeworthy

IMHO, its not the fact they got a trans in there (i dont give a shit), but the reason behind it. Its simple marketing to cater to all those "white knight oh noes misogyny triggered douchebags" blogs (Journalists as they call themselves) and individuals to blog and write about.

Yeah the combat animations look garbage. Not an ounce of impact or momentum to em. AC always had that problem but it looks worse then ever I dunno.

Likely won't even bother with an isodemo. I feel like I've played it already anyway Laughing

I for one don't think it even matters what the microtransactions are. I just find it baffling that what used to be fully-fledged singleplayer games that you would pay an amount of money for and you'd get everything have turned into butchered platforms for dlc balanced around microtransactions that require you to throw money at them over and over again to get everything for said games.

I'm fine with that in like free to play games, but like... I still find this just disgusting.

well with these "cheatDLC"s you can get everything in all WD, ACBF and ACU now even without these timesavers ingame - these are just shortcuts to get full map/ icons locations and similar crap -> which to me is nonissue as long as you can get all ingame.
And its nothing new in Ubi-games so why act surprised and disgusted now....
I personally donts see the issue and how it even influences (SP game) you in any way. Its just a way for some lazy fucks to get fullmap, resource boost or itemlocations ....

yeah its greedy , but thats all it is

It's amazing how people are barely excited about this game, even the most hardcore fans. Giant Bomb even did a small tidbit about that fact in one of their newest podcast episodes Laughing I completely agree with them. Every year since 2009 I used to long to November so much because it meant a new AC release. I really liked Unity. But this shit? The animations still don't work properly, and aside from the setting there really is nothing interesting there. What they added either seems out of place (grappling hook) or clunky as fuck (carriages or the new focus on melee with animations that seem to miss 50% of the frames).

I really do hope it sells like shit. If it sells better than Unity it might send a message that it was because of the transsmurf otherkin characters Laughing

I hope they come up with something fresh next year, or just skip one year and reboot the series. I thought Unity was really good, coming back to the original AC with tougher combat etc.

I 100%'d each AC game since 2009, so I personally don't care if it's marketed as always Very Happy I always bought AC games since in each one there was something to get excited about. In this, apart from the setting, there's nothing.

A shame too, because I'd love a proper AC game in London. Sad

I bet its just the journos anti-hype campaign and the way they are doing marketing this year. I am kinda excited for Syndicate , but that just beacuse i love London and I play AC games mostly for the cities - as for gameplay - some of my favourite features are back this year so thats a plus aswell as the return of pieces of Eden

What an absolute farce, it looks like a bag of smashed crabs.

They haven't done London the justice Paris got.

The one good thing about the last game was the pretty amazing job they done of the city, which did look really really good with everything maxed out.


Any slight interest I had in this has gone.
