Haha I saw you online before but for some reason I couldn't join you since I got kicked back multiple times. Sad Rebel scums!

Aye, I couldn't join servers with their derp system. So the only way was to join a friends server, so I joined yours. Was in queue till you got kicked out I think and got your place. Razz

Because the aesthetics are amazing, the sounds are epic, it runs like butter (always above the 60fps on Ultra here), but the gameplay itself...it's just dull men.

And this! Exactly how I felt about it. Shame really.

This should have been amazing, instead it's 'alright'. Fucking disgrace. Sad

Also played for a while and boy do I suck at these.
But I noticed that during the pod map, rebels tend to win since you can spot those bucket heads a mail away and in the walker map,it's much easier(imo) with imperials. Very Happy

It does look purrrty and all,but it just makes me sad it's not sp, would be so great to have a new story based game in the starwars universe. Sad

Ixi got the same feeling down like I did when I started it up 2 hours ago. Singleplayer for ISODEMO, wasted potential, sadly.

Yes, just imagine the jungle/forest maps - bright white troopers to aim for versus the guerilla style of the rebel alliance.

@Harry and EternalBlueScreen: Yep, absolutely! When playing those single player rinse and repeat missions against bots I felt possibly even worse, because everything here is already set for a potentially unforgettable, cinematic (in a good way) Star Wars campaign, combining the many modes and linking the different maps, yet they couldn't be arsed.

It's like having a Lamborghini and deciding to use it only to go to the grocery.

Is there a premium for this game? I will not buy now and then have to buy again like that bf4 retarded idea.. I can see them pulling this fast one out their ass. standard or deluxe, but no premium is concerning on release.

Or did they drop the premium all dlc free stuff for one price idea on swbf?

Add me to the angry crowd - the visuals and sounds are just perfect, even on my aged 8320, my 970 copes with this on ultra perfectly, and it really feels like I'm in the SW universe.

Then I shoot at something and all immersion vaporises Sad

BF II was infinitely more FUN than this. I know exactly what EA have done here, they've looked at the huge success of BF3, said 'we want a game in the SW universe, but like that', stopped for a moment, looked at CoD and then added 'but we want it to be like CoD too'. Dice probably sighed, and did what they were told.

This is simply a 'safe' game, designed to maximise profits due to the movie, rather than work on depth. And I don't think it's been 'rushed', I think this is exactly what EA ordered, making sure the console kiddies are happy and not put off by anything that might remotely involve 'teamwork' and 'strategy'.

I will say again - graphically this is pretty damn good. Such a shame. Like Pacman with no ghosts.

I played it a bit. The graphics are really good Smile

Let me put it this way: the 8 vs. 8 stuff is not that much fun. But it wasn't fun in Battlefield as well so...

But the big matches are nice. The funny thing is even with 20 vs. 20 it feels pretty massive which surprised me. Lots of stuff happening. Aircrafts, AT-ST and AT-AT and lots of blaster shit and stuff. Pretty wild.

Let me put it this way again: I would certainly buy it for 20-25€! Is it that cheap via proxy via origin mexico or sth.? ^^

The snipers are a pain in the ass still BUT even with a cheap blaster you can blast the bitches from far away so it's all good.

GFX is not that impressive so far but i think they will add a lot more fuzz to the final game.Sound is awesome,it`s high quality PEWPEWPEW in a StarWars setting but the gameplay,oh my god,the gameplay.

Vehicles as powerups,1-shot-sniperrifles with cooldown,a handful of gadgets masked as "cards" and shoebox levels just make me feel insulted. It`s on the same level as BF:Hardline, wouldn`t buy it for as low as 10 bucks

The game looks fine yeah, my subwoofer loves implosion grenades.

The gameplay is basic but not terrible. I wonder if it'll keep people's interest for long even with more modes. If the progression system adds a lot you can unlock, that'll help longevity.

Everyone carrying sniper rifles is complete bs.

Well that powerup stuff aint that uninteresting. You have an aircraft powerup for example and can use it whenever you want. Not like those camperbitches that steal away all the vehicles. I think it's a new way to do it might be ok.

And besides its only that snow level. When there is desert and forest and stuff it might be pretty interesting. Not boring at all for now.

What do you think of the hero gameplay? I'm not really feeling all that powerful, and its over pretty quickly because everyone wants to kill me. Should probably be made even more powerful, right now it is not a 'game changer' at all, really.

I wish it was like: if your hero player was awesome, it could turn the tide of a battle.

Right now the game just isn't set up for heroes to work like that.

Playing as a hero takes no skill, therefore it is boring.

Had my last match of this disappointment. Tore the enemy team a new asshole, killed Luke Dickstroker, was accused of hacking and that was that. Laughing

Worse than Hardline, because it had so much potential but they decided to go another route.

Won't buy even for $15.
