I think Dice can live with it that a few very hard boys wont buy it not even for 15 or 5 ^^
Haters are everywhere anyway. For me Battlefront has a special atmosphere whereas Hardline was incredibly bad in every regard.

I shall sip milk to mark this occasion.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Like I said before: you are their target audience. I'm not calling you names for liking it. So don't act like some 15 year old that just learned the phrase: haters gonna hate from Taylor Swift and thinks she invented it.
For some: a lot of shit going down, explosions and laz0rz are just not enough to make dull gameplay mechanics into a stellar game. Be happy they can please you. After all, you won't like it less if we're not liking it that much.

Wow this game is shit. No buy for me, it feels like an expansion pack for BF3.

If you compare it to just Hardline, then yes, you might be actually right. Compare it to the other BF (both Battlefield and Battlefront) games and you are so wrong on so many levels

And why the hell is EA releasing standalone expansion packs so expensive. BF4, BF:Hardshit, BF: Star shit. EA is not even a joke anymore it's a complete piece of crap.

I don't care if this was BF: He-Man , BF: Star-Trek, BF: Predator 2, BF: Alien vs Einstein it's always going to have that expansion feel to it that I don't like buying for $60.

Gave it a go and uninstalled it.
It's nothing more than a Star Wars arcade shooter. Infinity grenades, no cover or tactics needed. I found the best way to survive was finding the larger group of teamates and using them as meatshields. Insanely high accuracy with almost if no recoil, no respawn time, this is more in tune with call of duty than it is a BF game.
Hero play was absolutely stupid. Luke stood there and took out most of my team, just run chop run chop shield block block block RUN AND CHOP

Did earlier battlefront games have a drastically different experience though?
like how many of those things you said would apply to the older ones?

From Kotaku:
Quote: | In Battlefront, you don’t gain much of an advantage when you aim down the sights. Instead, you lose a second that you could have used to shoot, and your character slows down to boot. It’s actually more beneficial to shoot enemies right away, even if you’re running around/jetpacking, since your aim will more or less be the same as when you stand still and aim down the sights. Jackfrags says he spoke to a weapon designer in the game, who confirmed this information.
I tested it out myself, and found that I could kill enemies way more efficiently if I followed his advice. Hell, I straight up doubled my K/D thanks to this tip. It almost seemed to me that the game grants you extra aim assist when you don’t zoom in, but it may just be that hip fire automatically shoots from the centre of the screen instead of being off-centre, as most games would do it. | So there we have it - CoD: Empire vs Rebels.

I tried to give the beta a whirl, just get a black screen and the Afterburner overlay saying 200fps. What a festering pile of vomit. Uninstalled, I can't be arsed with this.. I just can't.
"Beta!" No, fuck nut, this is pre-alpha prototype levels of fuckery when you can't even launch the game.

This sounds like "The game crashed for me, therefore game is shit!"
Also it seems very stable for me and everyone i played with.

Did you try closing afterburner tho? I couldn't run BF4 with afterburner on for some reason. Since it's frostbite, idk.

@sabin1981
Do you have to be rude to everyone you respond to? even if they were just giving their honest opinions.
i dont think you have proven me wrong btw, just because the game crashing for you (and some others) doesn't mean u can formulate an opinion and state that it's "a festering pile of vomit", thats what i was trying to say.
i have seen "full" releases in a much worse state than this (which is actually a very good state imo), but apparently this beta doesn't get a chance.
anyways, thats why i dont like having an opinion on the hump here , sometimes it's just too tiresome saying something then arguing about it with someone who has 50000+ posts, cuz i know he'll "beat" me with loooooooong responses.
goodnight.

Actually, no, I hadn't tried that. Usually if AB causes an issue with a game the game simply won't load/function, or AB won't display, in this case the game "loads" but it just sticks on a black screen, I can open Origin interface too, and I had no trouble with AB in the BF4 beta :\

No, just the ones that are pointlessly provocative. You know damned well how I feel about "works fine for me" responses to having issues - you don't get civility in response, why should you? I'm very sorry my dislike of the game you're enjoying means you have to get all huffy and defensive.

That's the same issue i have with BF4 and AB. Black screen, fps locked on 200.

had no clue beta was so easily accesible. Got some bottles of wine down, no better moment to see what a steaming pile this has become... Im sure it sounds and looks great, there is little in way of star wars that doesnt(sound great). glad I get to try it out at least before shelling out for a key and discovering its a sad shimmer of times gone by
EDIT: well thats a bummer... It doesnt seem to want to start. Gets stuck on 65,702kb ram loaded and doesnt seem to do anything : /

Problem here is you stated your post as fact

Nothing here is an opinion. There are countless amounts of gamers that arn't in your "everyone I played with" category who do in fact have problems with games for whatever reason their hardware combo doesn't seem to want to play nice.
Next time instead of a comment like "game crashed for me therefore it's shit", why not offer some help with the problem instead of acting superior because your game behaved.
