Can't wait to see what they come up with. In the books, Geralt spends a year or so in Toussaint in his search for Ciri, but nothing really exciting happens. So i guess they must spice up the story to make it more interesting.
For anyone getting long load times after deleting d3d11.dll, try only manually loading your saves instead of selecting "load most recent save". That's according to this guy:
Strange, patched to 1.10 GOG (from 1.07 GOG) and i don't have that d3d11dll in my "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64" ? But i think the performance is bit strange, got to test it more, at least i think i still have my wolf diagrams and the "?" looted points are still marked as completed
Hearts of stone: GOG version will be out later today.

Meanwhile the people of that generation will call those guys relics, and not move with the times when everything is auto fucking.
In the end I decided to install the 1.10 to complete the base game, and after playing for some time it seems that the performance has stayed the same for me, my Geralt didn't find himself naked and couldn't notice any strange stuff quests-wise, everything went better than expected.
I did however have some problems with mods, even the updated ones couldn't get loaded because of nasty scripting errors, until I found this solution which fixed it
yeah, the golden rule is set up your game to get 60 fps in forests, and you're set. I always chuckled at people on steam forums with their, I get 60 fps all "maxxed" claims. Yeah, on the road in empty fields, sure, we all do
get into a forest, and all maxxed 60 fps requires a 980ti.
Wanted to ask if AI was always a bit shit in this or is this something with the last patch?
I was crossbow sniping drowners from like 10 meters away, and they didn't attack me. literally, they would die from bolts, and just keep moving around aimlessly. only when I got really close did they attack... was really bad, borderline broken. basically, it looks like some failed anti kiting mechanic is in place.
Man, the addon is pretty good so far! I like the diversity of missions.
Played for about 9 hours now, and i have a feeling i still have at least 5 more hours of playtime.

Haha yup, I was tempted by them but like you said they're probably just chores. Still thanks for the heads up 4treyu!
So far I've settled for the Ultimate Lighting mod (default - the best setting in my opinion), KNG's blood mod, No-Auto Camera Centering and the Friendly Hud to complete the circle. I'm avoiding all the gameplay-related ones since I like some inventory management and the rest is more than fine as it is.
Just finished reading the comic included with the "HoS" DLC.
Nice little epilogue to Vergen though I wonder if that means if...
Spoiler:
Saskia
Is dead or not?
(Seems to be some conflicting reports as earlier comments by CD Project RED hinted at said character still being alive during the events of Witcher 3 but going by how the comic ended that doesn't seem very likely.)
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
