Wow some of the new NPC's faces, the rune guy for example, look fucking amazing
The faces are indeed done well in the expansion. There's also more variety, in the pre-expansion version every young to middle aged woman was attractive. In the expansion I finally saw an ugly one.
Has anyone already found the New Moon set? Around that haunted church in the north east end of the Novigrad map? I only found the armor and boots, but didn't find trousers or gauntlets there

Yeah, I rushed to finish Arkham Knight on the weekend so I could be ready for this
stupid cheap tricks...non-stop for X time teleportation the cheapest trick there is..bah extremely unfriendly for all mage builds... I guess this is payback for burning in seconds everyone else even X levels higher than Geralt with maxed out igni lol
I finally killed him dodging using only alt without any other keys helped a lot, Geralt did it automatically in the right direction lol still..I didn't like this fight.. If I put all my points into magic I expect my character to deal very good damage even to bosses.... like it was in Witcher 1 ..and I didn't like that he seemed to be immune to these special bombs that disable teleporting..
Against Olgierd in the painted world.
What the actual fuck. :O
He owns me constantly so fast, i am barely able to get in hits.
And if one of that enemy is not enough, there are frozen clones of him that join the fight if you hit them by accident.
He had about 25% left and i was nearly full. Then with the last hit of his combo i got one hitted.
Now i wanted to do some of that rune enchanting. But what the hell is with the prices: 5,000 to enable that feature, then 10,000 to get better enchants and after that 15,000 for another upgrade.
I am not even counting the costs to buy all the needed runestones.
Those enchants are pretty shitty too. The most useful is for armor to automatically deflect every arror.
Is there some hidden legit feature to get some kind of constant cash flow? Or how is one supposed to afford this?
I rarely bought anything from traders in the past, sold most loot i found and in quests most of the time went the money reward route.
Enthoo Evolv ATX TG // Asus Prime x370 // Ryzen 1700 // Gainward GTX 1080 // 16GB DDR4-3200
I don't know, Bob, I'm sitting on 30k legit, and have bought the upgrades for the craft. I just sold absolutely everything I picked up, and I picked up everything, like a proper klepto.
Yep, the wedding part was my favourite part of the DLC, even better than the drinking in Kaer Morhen in the main game.
---------------
Just finished this after about 17 hours, doing everything.
It definately is worth the 9,99€ i (sadly) didn't spent on it.
This is what every DLC for games has to be. Not some crap like challenge map or other skins.
The diversity in the quests was awesome. No standard crap like fetch this or kill those.
My only gripe was the runewright, as i wrote in my earliert post. To me that was just a pointless addition. Prices were much to high (at least for my playthrough) and enchants not really worth it, if you don't upgrade at the start of the DLC already.
Everything else was just perfect though, and i couldn't think how they could have made the quests better.
It's interesting to see how much better the new north and northeast areas of the world look than the rest of Velen, CD Projekt has definitely learned from their first open world experience and improved upon it. Imagine how much better Blood and Wine will be.
Started using this one today. since i'm playing with a gamepad, didn't even bother with the hotkey's addon, but for keyboard witchers, it adds a ton more functionality.
I just manually tweaked a few settings in the config file as I have no use for most of the features, and many require kb+m usage for full potential.
The mod is awesome, borderline essential. It removes so many annoyances. no more auto sword sheathing and switching. inventory opens to the potions/oils/bombs page by default, map starts zoomed out a bit further, and you can zoom out much more before leaving to world map.
the witcher sense quest marker is great. no derpy minimap, but you have a sense of direction when you need it, don't need to waste time in big villages looking for the quest person, and no need to constantly use the map just to know if you are going the right way. you still use the map, but the frequency and the tedium is diminished greatly. Exploration without constant map checking interuptions at last!
And all of the stuff i mention, and more, can be completely tweaked and enabled/disabled. i disabled the potion/oil quick menu usage, as it looks amateurish, basically using active effect icons for a different purpose. doesn't feel as good as other parts of the mod.
Amazing though, that a kid that sounds like he's 15-16 made this mod.

Meh, didn't know you could wear the goggles. Sold them to someone and don't know who it was.

A riddle:
Spoiler:
( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙)
I was like, are you retarded? Or do you really want to lose for some reason?
Oh Mirror Man, peddler of Mirrors, you're so tsundere. You really want Olgierd to be free don't you?
Need to play as ginger David Beckham. They should make another expansion where we can play as ginger David Beckham with more wacky hijinks. Preferably set in the past, chilling with good old Vlodimir.
