In the Hearts of Stone you start from 0 or continue from where the original stopped?
It gets added to the game as a level 32(or was it 30?) quest. Or alternatively you can start only the expansion from the main menu which gives you a leveled up Geralt with some decent equipment and doesn't have the main Wild Hunt quest. The expansion is more or less separate from the main game although I did notice at least one reference to my actions in the main game, namely the conclusion of the Radovid questline.
pretty sure just restarting the game.. heck, reloading the game, would probably fix it. ive seen npc's do something similar in teh early days... its just a little glitch that occurs from time to time.
still thought it was funny though.. never seen it effect geralt, let alone roach
I have to admit I'm really getting into this game. I'm only a level 4 but I've just completed the bit about the Barons dead child. I do find it hard to craft things or even find things to craft. It's not my usual game, FPS really but I'm liking it. Very much a n00b when it comes to these games lol.

Near the mill which is located a bit away from the new village and, right next to the river that's leading up to the small lake behind it, some ruined buildings nearby too.
(Which is near where you first meet Olgier and also near Olgier's old mansion.)
EDIT: Edited a bit to try and make it slightly clearer, you should spot the windmill from close by the village and it shouldn't be too difficult to find, there's a pond in the middle between the mansion and the mill too making for a good landmark.

PS It looks like they fixed chort infinite spawn at the white orchid. The one that used to appear right after you killed several sheep
Crafting and selling Mountain Folk boots and Assassins trousers
Speaking of that there's assassin's trousers, boots and gloves but they didn't make a actual chest armor so unfortunately one will have to wear the other unique/epic light chest armors for that, bit strange but that's how it is.
(There doesn't seem to be any unique/epic medium legwears either though most of the epic/unique heavy armor makes a pretty good match though if you want a matching set you'll have to wear the Witcher gear.)
(Though admittedly the pieces of epic/unique heavy armor is a bit too heavy looking for what you'd expect a Witcher to use, almost full plate though I think it looks pretty good even if it doesn't fit the "lore" or how to say.)
EDIT: Expansion armor sets are also quite nice when you finally acquire them, might not match what you'd have by that point in the game though but looks good at least.
Has no one noticed how they nerfed yrden? almost seems broken. i'm thinking of installing the mod that fixes the scaling. in 1.10 max yrden slowdown is 42%, which seems awfully overkill to prevent freezing at 100%.
Can't even kill the first boss on easiest difficulty.
Guess I will have to skip this expansion.
What level are you and what gear do you have? The first boss was kind of challenging but I killed it on Death March on my second attempt. The main thing to watch out for is its tongue, it can break right through Quen and damage you.
I'm level 33 and have Feline armor and some of the lategame swords. I suspect it's because I don't have enough upgrades to my armor and weapons or something. Doesn't help that I have around 15fps in the fight either, makes it too difficult to dodge stuff.
The frog was pretty hard but he has a pretty clear pattern. Roll to his side as he starts to do his tongue/acid attack, get a few hits in, roll away to avoid the jump attack, repeat. Quen helps if you have trouble getting the timing right.
The key is to non-stop jumping around it and do light 1-2 hits from time to time if you have burning and bleeding effect its done without signs or even hitting you.
