Anyone else zero interest in this after watching streams?
I mean I was kinda hyped. A new Blizzard game. Yay.

Why does it look so boring?! Am I missing something?
I'm probably too old for this shit.

I felt the same. Maybe because it is the first day and everyone is just terrible at it. Watch Blizz's own videos and I think that showcase the game a bit better. Once streamers and players learn how to play, then we'll see what really playing it is like.

Right now everyone is just run and gun, which really doesn't help when this game's shooting is so simple. Tactics and teamwork is where it is at, like Moba.

I had the chance to try it, my friend got in.

So .. uhm ...

Yeah, it's not for shooter fans. First off, mouse delay. It's not huge, but on PC games I have no tolerance for this shit.

Second: aiming is not all that important (it is slightly for some classes).

It's a moba played from first perspective.

It is not fast at all. It's slow, imo, imo, imo.

Overall, this simply isn't for FPS fans, and least of all for fast paced FPS fans.

I think this might be something for me then... most fpses like battlefield are just too twitchy for me (enjoyed world of tanks and mechwarrior online, but those online games suffer from a range of other problems) :\

http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/overwatch-system-requirements

Apparently the minimum system specs are for 1280x720 at the lowest detail level (30 fps) and recommended is for 1920x1080 at medium detail level (60 fps).

Quote:

Minimum System Specifications

OS: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent
Memory: 4GB RAM
Hard Drive: 5GB space on a 7,200 RPM drive, or better
Graphics: GeForce GTX 460

Recommended System Specifications

Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent
Memory: 6GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 660 with 2GB VRAM

If you’re currently equipped with the minimum required system, you’ll be blasting foes at around 30 frames per second at 1280x720, at the lowest detail levels. Stepping up to the recommended system ups your framerate to 60, your resolution to 1920x1080, and detail levels to Medium.

If you have all of their games, then you don't need extra reasons to buy their next game. So be a good little slave then, and wait.

Meanwhile my friend who bought maybe 1-2 of their games is in almost every beta, even though he almost never actually buys or plays their games.

So yeah, it's "random".

Someone said it doesn't play like TF2. More teamplay and slower, less twitchy action; someone likened it to a first-person MOBA. Would be interesting if this is true.

It's slow because it's another god damn console piece of shit masquerading as a PC game. It even has retardtroler suport. I'll bet you 5 cents they'll announce couch version at Blizzcon, but even if they don't( they took almost one and a half years for Diablo 3), it'll still come later. It's built for consoles, you can tell. Slow ass, sleep inducing gameplay.

That someone is me. Yes. I tried it, played around 6 hours. And yes, it is true.

People on the Beta feedback forums are calling it too fast though >DDDDDDDDDDDDD

Too fast paced, LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

It's slow. Matches on average lasted 7 minutes. Maps are poorly designed imho in comparison to TF2.

For someone who grew up on the complexity and fast paced shooters of better times, this has nothing to offer them.

Counter Strike has controller support, doesn't mean shit. But yes, why the hell would they not release this for consoles?

I tried it for maybe 5-6 matches. It's ok, not my kinda game.

Disappointing for a Blizzard product..they scrapped the Titan project and released this from the assets? Rofl wut.

With that said I'm probably just not the target audience for this game.
