xbox version just came out awesome my No1 best game finished em all and will be completing this one , cant wait.
As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

This is the PS2 THREAD, people that care about the PS2 THREAD do not care wether the xbox version is out or not so go somewhere else with that.
About the game.
I played it and this is more towards sands of time than warrior within, and that's good because warrior within was quite bad. One thing I did not like in this game though is the fighting, it just didn't feel right, and far from as cool as it was in sands of time. I had a hard time knowing what I was doing in this. :/
But the rest was quite sweet, with nice enviroments and great jump/running on walls sequences.

thats great, i found sot far better than ww, i dont really care that much about the fighting as long as the great platforming and levels are in it.

It does not have a 50/60 selector but it is playable off the hard drive, not sure about slide card but it probably works. It does have a screen positioning option under display so it helps people ho play PAL games on NTSC TVs. Cheers

This new one is much better then number 2 I think. Feel much more like the first, and the stealth kills are awesome! Plus, you get to play as two characters. One is obviously the prince, and the other is this creature you transform into after being infected by the sands!

Anyone have an idea why the PS2 version is larger in gig size than the Xbox version? The PS2 version is over 4 gigs unpacked while the Xbox version is only 2,4 gigs unpacked. And please don't give me the "because-the-PS2-version-is-better" answer, thank you. I'm Sorry that I posted on the Xbox thread too but I just need to know why because I'm planning to buy a copy of this game but I want the best console version (I don't have a good enough PC).

The Xbox version is multi 5 (EN/ FR/ DE/ IT/ SP) and it's both NTSC and PAL.

loving this, better than the 2nd for sure, fighting seems just fine also but i do love the stealth kills now implemented in the game. So glad this is out because it helps extingish the urge to go and get a xbox360 launched tonight, i do not really need one just yet

yea this game is really great, it really has the feeling of the first one, especially the little details like some humorous dialogues between the characters and prince´s dark side feel like these from sands of time.
and yea the stealth portion is great, the only thing that kinda annoyed me since the first one was the fighting system, it was never really the good part of the game, but now due to the stealth kill option you can skip most the fighting by gettin rid of enemies in time.
this gives the game a much better flow from the other 2.

I actually loved the fighting in the first game, it had such a cool flow. This game totally lacks that.
It's easily better than warrior within but sands of time is still way better because of the above mentioned reason.
And another thing that I really hate is the fact that you cant customise the camera controls. I want for example up to be down on the analog stick, and left to be left, but I'm stuck with up = up on the analog stick, and left = right on the analog stick. This is a pain when you are used to something else :/
I dont see what the settings in options do either because changing them didn't change crap as far as I could tell?
I dont remember if it was the same in the other games, but if it was I'm sure it annoyed me there too.

hmm for me its up=up and left=left (character´s left side), thats the way i m used to, but true, changing it in the settings doesnt seem to work.
