Cdkeys.com have it around 39€ last time I checked (got it for 35€ from them but that was a week ago). You could find others around 35€, but I can't recommend those.  |

guys dont forget to add a couple of hours (or days) to that countdown that will be spent tinkering, editing .inis, doing a voodoo dance etc. until it just works™
after all, it wouldnt be a bethesda game otherwise.

Steam is buggy i guess. With that link it still shows the german unlock time for me: 1 day and 10 hours

CC=country hasn't worked in a long time for me, I figured Valve had completely blocked that now. No matter what country code I add to the URL, the site *only* loads in my profile-locked currency/location, which is Norway and Krone(r) right now.

Well Bob obviously you need a VPN to use it. But official NZ Steam countdown is like 2 PM UK time. Unless it changes within today or tomorrow, the 22 hours are absolutely correct.
edit: CC=NZ just worked, still 22 hours.

Please don't insult me Harry. I know i need a VPN for the unlock.
And yes Sabin is correct. A few months ago Steam changed it, so you can't "peek" at other countries prices with the "cc=" addition to the URL anymore.

Maybe your VPN is still connected? Because nope, no matter how many times I click; no change. Geofilter locked into NO.

Are you logged into steam?
Because cc works for me and maybe thats the difference

Steam is open but not logged into the Browser, it does work, funny it does now because it never did the past weeks/months.

Hey guise, since a lot of you are gonna use VPN, I wanna ask some questions since I never ever used It before. But the hype is real with this one, so:
1. How do I start using a VPN, a link maybe, please?
2. When I activate it using a VPN do I have to use steam in offline mode? Cuz I'm an achievement whore and don't really wanna play if I get no achievements, mkay

Use FlyVPN:

It's enough when you enable the VPN before starting Fallout. After it runs you can disable it again. No need to go in Offline mode.

1. There's a variety, SoftEther VPN (albeit complicated layout), VyprVPN (personal favorite), FlyVPN (free and a bit restricted and overrun by many), + some smaller ones. They need to be standalone programs and not just for your browser (e.g. Hola etc), but put your computer in another country (digitally).
2. You can't do that in Offline mode, so there's no point in staying offline after you have the data. May just need to turn it on once for every playsession (and you can turn it off after it started/downloaded the data).

being from the UK, i normally used a vpn, fired up steam, unlocked the game and stick steam into offline mode, that still work ok, havent done it in a while

if you fire up steam with vpn connected and start the game, tab out, disconnect vpn -> game should stay unlocked till you close steam or shutdown your pc
