@Rashoumon No need to, it's enough to start the VPN, when it downloads just use your regular connection.

You should be able to start the download while connected via VPN, disconnect from the VPN to continue the download at full speed then reconnect to the VPN to launch the game.
I may be wrong, but I recall doing something like this for previous games.

game gets patched anyway if its decrypted (and they release a patch, maybe its already included in the preload, if there is any. only cause ps4 already has a patch doesnt mean pc has it too), doesnt matter if connected to vpn or not then

Which Fallout do you mean? It looks exactly like FO3, only smoother and better looking (in PC streams). Did you expect an isometric game this time?

The .exe depot is missing so if its not added to preload few hours before release date there will be about 400mb download when its out.

FO3 and F:NV had some "weight" when you were moving, in the quoted video the main character felt like he was in a CoD game.

sure its missing, but you dont need to dl that via vpn

The (constant) sprinting is a big change from FO3 and NV and makes it look more like an FPS.
I think this is what Neon is referring to.

The release time used to be 0:00 on the 10th for my region, now it shows as 2am on the 10th. Not like that matters much. Still don't have my key and haven't preloaded it which will last at least 8 hours.

Same here regarding the release time. I'll be taking a little trip to NZ tomorrow tho so it doesn't matter.  |
