just after intro/vault bit got bugged (stuck) using a terminal, game breaker like 5 mins in.

Bethesda never changes.

EDIT: seems all terminals are bugged, wtf

Yeah, same bug happens to me... found someone mentioning vsync could be a problem, but haven't found a solution yet. Oh well, taking a break now and will go watch a movie or something, that bug is annoying, especially as I just tried to hack a terminal. Maybe later in the day someone will have found a fix and if not, still got tomorrow before I have to go back to work on wednesday.

Slight warning

2 users on RIN and one twitter post mention save game breaking bug(s)
https://twitter.com/Tidux/status/663364627481427968?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

So be warned or maybe keep backups?

Meh, as always setting the right difficulty in a Bethesda game is not possible.

Played on Hard first, but enemies barely did damage to me.
Increased to Very Hard and their damage output didn't increase really either. But instead of one shotgun shot to their face, they now need two. Meh.

Even if it doesn't have Bart, it may have Bort Pffchh Except for some slight jiggyness, it runs well on ALL ULTRA, which isn't surprising.

Still waiting on my key from funstockdigital.co.uk
On friday they sent out an email saying they will send out the keys on monday because they don't want to repeat their call of duty fuckup from earlier in the week. Keys were supposed to go out at 12pm gmt, 5 hours later still no keys and their website is in maintenance mode. Laughing

from a reddit post
Quote:

I'm picturing a team of 2 people. one is manning the twitter account while the other one is frenetically doing CTRL+C CTRL+V back and forth from an excel spreadsheet full of keys to a customer table on their database, then realizes midway they're call of duty keys.
"We didn't send the keys in advance because we wanted to get it right!"
so instead of gracefully sending keys throughout the last 4 days and gradually have people log in and redeem them, they created a bottleneck situation as the deadline approaches, rendering their website useless while they still haven't sorted out how to send the keys and their customers are screaming for their head.
well done funstock

There seems to be some twenty odd copies in the sharing corner still so you could grab one of those if you are worried about potential crack problems... Dude Wink

Saves are stored in Bethesda's Fallout 4 folder.
C:\Users\UZIName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves

Yea. The responsible retard never seemed to have heard anything of usability at all.
Also the crafting menus gave me a headache. So many different hotkeys, god.
I seriously wonder what kind of low skilled people are working at Bethesda.

Yeah normally they would be in the "cloud" folder for Steam which is the /Userdata/*AppID*/ folder wherever you have Steam installed, I assume this game either doesn't support Cloud saving or Steam has improved this functionality so it can be used outside of the Steam folder structure.

I tried it there, I tried it in the custom ini it generates and I tried it in the default ini in the game directory. Nothing changes it.

If you change it in game, it works until you close the console, then it snaps back to the shitty default one.

'Help' in the console doesn't even return anything anymore

Their contempt for PC gamers shows no bounds

Maybe it will work if you set the files to Read-Only?

Either way it's just a matter of DL speed now, and also knowing beth's update history in their steam games I'll stick to the for now.

Any useful tweaks you found out so far, BTW? Very Happy

Bunch of lazy motherfuckers, seriously Laughing
Hopefully an autohotkey script takes care of that
