just after intro/vault bit got bugged (stuck) using a terminal, game breaker like 5 mins in.
Bethesda never changes.
EDIT: seems all terminals are bugged, wtf |
Yeah, same bug happens to me... found someone mentioning vsync could be a problem, but haven't found a solution yet. Oh well, taking a break now and will go watch a movie or something, that bug is annoying, especially as I just tried to hack a terminal. Maybe later in the day someone will have found a fix and if not, still got tomorrow before I have to go back to work on wednesday.

Meh, as always setting the right difficulty in a Bethesda game is not possible.
Played on Hard first, but enemies barely did damage to me.
Increased to Very Hard and their damage output didn't increase really either. But instead of one shotgun shot to their face, they now need two. Meh.

Saves are stored in Bethesda's Fallout 4 folder.
C:\Users\UZIName\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves

Yeah normally they would be in the "cloud" folder for Steam which is the /Userdata/*AppID*/ folder wherever you have Steam installed, I assume this game either doesn't support Cloud saving or Steam has improved this functionality so it can be used outside of the Steam folder structure.

(Might need to add them to the user ini file first, [Interface] section.) |
I tried it there, I tried it in the custom ini it generates and I tried it in the default ini in the game directory. Nothing changes it.
If you change it in game, it works until you close the console, then it snaps back to the shitty default one.
'Help' in the console doesn't even return anything anymore

Maybe it will work if you set the files to Read-Only?

Either way it's just a matter of DL speed now, and also knowing beth's update history in their steam games I'll stick to the for now.
Any useful tweaks you found out so far, BTW?

Hopefully an autohotkey script takes care of that
