My biggest gripe so far is the lack of different factions. I'm 4 hours in, and there are the obviously good guys, and the obvious bad guys.

Wow, when the sun goes down, so does the frame rate. Laughing

Oh and some areas offer Ubisoft level FPS. It's incredibly frustrating trying to aim with a cinematic frame rate.

Does anyone know what perk is required to access workshop/junk items at ANY workshop? Not just the one you stash items at? I checked through the perk list but nothing that sounds all that applicable jumped out at me.

Ta!

I don't know if you found the answer, but I remembered your question and came across the answer.
As far as I can tell, the perk to establish supply lines between outposts is what allows you to share the inventory. One settler has to be assigned to the task, at which point brahmins will patrol between your settlements and they'll be part of a global stash.
I wasn't sure if this allowed to share the inventory or earn money, but it looks like the second level of the perk is what earns you money (building stores and such).
The perk is Local Leader - Charisma 6.

And this is a general tip for anyone looking to increase the size of their settlements: don't forget to build a radio tower. Looking into the Power section (electricity and electronics) you'll get to build a small radio tower. It'll quickly earn you some attention.

Nice one, thanks! Incidentally, I was working towards Local Leader as well Very Happy I've got another question, this one because I'm not sure if it's just flavour text that you learn to ignore.. or if there's really something to do, but;

OK, so I just wanted to try out the performance and played a bit of the start part. Everything seems to be dandy at Ultra (minus God Rays) and I'm getting 60 frames constantly. However, there is this weird stutter or frame skip (for the lack of better term) when I tend to move the camera while sprinting or walking. It doesn't drop frames, just seems to have this odd stutter. Anyone else experiencing this?

EDIT: Didn't have to look far. Here it is:

Soo tired :I

got up at 6 and went to work.... played Fallout all night :'(

I usually get drop dead tired around at midnight, but if there's a new game I'm hooked to, my sleepiness just disappears.

Last time this happened with D3 expansion.

anyway Dude Cool
good game Razz

ps. I found the bandit camp from the video where they showed the fps drop when aiming with a scope on consoles -> same on my comp. I'm playing all ultra and on my screens native reso (closish to 4k (I never remember it as there's no abbreviation for it Razz)). I think I dipped down to single digits when I used scope and aimed at that camp.

I only now read about the godrays performance boost, so I'll try that in the evening.

Also, as I earlier asked about getting stuck to the terminals, for me this problem simply... disappeared.
I was happening all the time at the 'tutorial' (getting out of the vault), but once I was out, I haven't had the issue.

Well, there's another similar issue, you should be careful how you activate a terminal. I activated one once from behind some debris on ground and my character was stuck walking at the debris forever. I've learned to quicksave before any terminal interaction Smile

The building aspect is quite lacking in this I think, if you're a packrat like me, you have so much of the scraps that you can build everything really fast. I'm only stuck with the buildings which are locked behind the perks as I started with too low charisma to get the perk, so I have been dumping points to charisma a while now Razz

+1

I play as a male character and his answers are often just some retarded one liners that sound worse than the one word in the wheel describing it.

I would sooo preferred if they just ditched the crappy player character voicing and the wheel and just went with the dialogue system of all the previous games.

Even with the problems i have so far, i can't wait to play it again for the whole today later. Sadly i have go out for a few hours first. Embarassed
// Especially the sometimes hidden lore during missions is very well done. Often revealing interesting background information. Like that the said to be bad guy in reality has rather good intentions for his doings. A
t least in that regard Bethesda are pretty good.
