Seems the Fallout 4 guide from geforce.com has been removed. Interesting.

I should have saved it so it can be compared with whatever new version they put up, maybe that's still possible if someone else saved it locally or there's a cached version available from elsewhere.

It's more of the same sort-of, some systems have been simplified such as the oft mentioned dialogue choices but others like crafting have been greatly expanded even when compared to mods that added to the crafting mechanic in Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
(The PC mouse+keyboard controls have been made even worse unfortunately.)

EDIT: Ah so there is a cached version of that page available, good.

The game is very prone to crashing when you quit (Seems to do it silently too without a WER message about how the application crashed.) it so if that's what's happening the latest config changes are discarded, unless they've changed the system from Skyrim.
(There was a console command to force save the config file too as far as I remember but I don't remember the cvar's name.)

Haven't seen that happen yet, but then again I just quit via the console with QQQ out of habit. Very Happy

There is something about these bethesda games that gets me hooked up despite all those massive flaws. I think it's the sense of discovery and exploration. The graphics are a mixed bag. The animations are the usual gamebryo poop. The dialogue system along with the RETARDED camera behaviour is really bad. The UI is abysmal. But I am still enjoying the game. I guess it's going to be like Oblivion for me. Guilty pleasure.

Is anyone playing it from HDD? Loading time (when you launch the game and when you fast travel) is really frustrating especially compared to witcher 3 Laughing

Maxed out, 1440p, I get 80-120 FPS. Sadly I have to cap it to 60, else I get that annoying bug where you get stuck after using a terminal.

Also I don't think Bethesda understands what sarcastic means.

Most of the responses when you choose sarcastic are not sarcastic at all. Facetious would have been more accurate.

Dialog system sucks.

Unfortunately it's only the front page which has been cached. All the respective articles within lead to dead links. :/

If i install a version of the game that was cracked by one group, or a repack - will i be able to UPDATE THE GAME later on?

also, will i be able to use the saves from one crack group on an installation made by a different group?

i wouldnt want to start a game now, and two weeks from now try and update the game or not be able to continue from my last save....

Well all the links I noticed (didn't check ALL) were actually just jumps within the one page -> you can manually just scroll down/up to get to the part the link is pointing to.

Why not stick to an official scene release? For now, we only have CODEX's release, so any updates that roll out should be cracked by them too.
