Meanwhile, they spent 5 episodes building up the fact that he was a crossdresser and not attracted to the male gender.

And that's not even what really pisses me off.
Again, they specifically built him as a character in the first half of this season as simply being a cross dresser who SPECIFICALLY states in an episode that he wasn't sexually attracted to men.
Now he is.
It would be like if you had a show running for half a season and you had an actress playing the lead role. Then, all of a sudden on episode 6 you replaced the women with a man and just expected the audience to 'get it' or something.
Just imagine it. Imagine watching The Walking Dead and all of a sudden in next weeks episode the actress that plays the badass lesbo bitch is suddenly no longer a lesbo and wants to fuck the idiot savant mullet guy instead of the fat med student lesbo bitch.

What episode? |
The episode where they give the backstory of his character. It's either episode 4 or 5. They make it very clear who he is, and why he does it. NO WHERE in the past 5 episodes have they indicated he was transgender. You claiming him having sex with men 'makes sense' because he is transgender is not based on the reality of the show in the past 5 episodes.
And again, the ONLY reason they are doing this is because they know people who love SJW/PC culture bullshit will lap this shit up. Nevermind the fact that this is a serious continuity error.

Perhaps if you knew more about scientific facts on gender dysphoria you would stop acting stupid and shit. Of course they wouldn't go deep into science on a supernatural show besides that historic period wasn't known to have progressed far in researching gender dysphoria. Her statement made perfect sense(oversimplified version delivered by a supernatural creature) so to speak) but whatever.

As I said it has nothing to do with SJW nonsense.
The Countess, an ancient vampire, should have talked about hormones, genetic variations,differences in brain functioning and brain structures, about prenatal development and shit..right? No. Hence a very nice line she delivered about blood smelling like a woman's.

PS However , I do have a problem with this young punk suddenly enjoying the company of Liz who is not a crossdresser.  Mostly because Liz doesn't look like a woman and the punk indeed specifically said he didn't like men. Liz can be whatever she is but her appearance betrays her inner self hence the scene seemed unnecessary
Tbh I'm getting disappointed with this season although I did like the first episodes. Some characters started behaving kinda strange (the wife for instance), some new characters (the countess old lover) are boring etc. I'm afraid it will be like season 2.. The first half was good the second one was shit.

The countess role was obviously developed for Jessica Lange but Gaga likely wanted to be on the show and they let her have it. This season would be substantially better if the role of the main villain was being filled by who it was specifically written for.
It's frankly insulting to the viewer that they let Gaga shove her way in just because she wants to play actress.
PS - If we listened to science about gender dysphoria we would be treating it as the psychological issue that it is as rather then simply accepting it as 'normal' because a SJW said so. Physically these people are the same gender, and have nothing wrong with their hormone production / brains. I realize it isn't a 'choice' i'm not daft. It should be treated the same as any other psychological disorder though.

showed more emotions, thats why I think. If the lack of emotion was deliberate, then she isn't that bad. No Jessica Lange tho she was always the star of the show.

ida say seasons 1-3 are definitely very good. season 4 has some moments, but i disliked the setting from the get go. I like the setting in season 5, but it feels kinda weak, since they lost jessica lange.

Just watched episode 9. It was ok nothing really special.
| Spoiler: | Quite a few twists in this one. Hoping for some more John but Im sure there will be plenty in next week's episode.
I think the vampire kids is a stupid subplot and wasnt really necessary.
I gotta say I think Lady Gaga is hot. I didnt think much of her before AHS but thats really changed my opinion lol. I wish she would go full topless though instead of covering her nipples up with stupid black stars or something else! |
