Problem is it takes ages to break down stuff and to sell stuff. It's all about Quality of Life changes.
Items get broken down automatically by storing items in the workshops
Are you sure? I needed 12 Aluminum for the Minutemen mission. Checked my workshop - turns out there are like 5-6 objects with Aluminum. And no way to scrap them from the Workshop. I had to take them with me, drop them on the ground, turn on the building interface and scrap them from there. It was beyond retarded, it was BETHARDED. I told the Minutemen to go fuck themselves with their stupid buildings.
@dsergei Junk always counts towards anything in the workshop/gun bench/craafting stations. There's no "are you sure" it's a fact it works like this. You only have to break down things like guns manually, and only if you need something.

I've seen people with livingrooms like that, the world often is a dusty place

You really haven't and this isn't dust. This is a terrible effect that was used in so many open world games and it's fucking obnoxious.

I'll see if I can find something else then, just started the game to take some comparison screens.
GR fog 0 ->
GR fog 1 ->
So these "fog" commands look like they'll work wonders outdoors, but neither on nor off does anything for indoor view distance fogging Seriously, there are some places in the game where it's just ridiculously ugly and overdone.

What if I need to build stuff at another workshop? Do I have to bring all that poop with me if I don't have the caravans set up? Why not just add the scrap button?
If theres another installment in the franchise and it's not made by Obsidian. I don't think I'll care.
I would partly disagree with that.
Looking purely at FO3 and NV now. FO3 world, locations, story (as in purely what it's about) is far more interesting than NV. Though everything else is better in NV, story makes more sense but less interesting, more in-depth rpg mechanics and refinements.
They should combine workforces and combine what people worked on the parts that ultimately became better compared to one another. (if that makes any sense lol)

Could the use of it also fix the parallel use of mods, that might change the same files? For example the Strings file.
// Just tested it myself: It still is going to overwrite the the same file, that different mods change.

@Bob Barnsen Just like other special mods, someone may be able to merge them (like the settlement mods that have more than one feature but were available individually), but as to how, don't ask here, Nexus it is.
Yea it doesn't work, even with the Mod Manager.
I tried the Manager with some other mods though. And after playing around a bit, it deleted the content of the Strings folder. Which makes the game crash.
Uninstalled that crap again.
Would someone be so nice to upload their \Fallout 4\Data\Strings folder? It should have three files in it..
For those interested in the lore and have explored quite a bit...
Spoiler:
So we get to meet a pre-war Chinese Captain and help him with this problem. Yet we're not given the chance to ask him all kinds of questions? With everything indicated, we now know it is extremely likely that the Chinese were indeed the ones who fired first. But what we don't know is why. By that I mean did they fire out of desperation? Or was Vault-Tec involved? Did PAM have anything to do with all this? Are there anymore twist to all this?
Normally we only get snippets of info from terminals, etc. But now that we literally have a pre-war person (who fired the nukes), this should have been one of the biggest lore dump we get in this game. WTF Beth
And I was so excited when I read that one terminal, then found this guy. Way to get my hopes up
Sorry about the quality/framerate, the only capture tool I have installed is Xbox DVR that comes with Windows 10 The "updated" version of DVR has much better quality and 60fps, but it's only out for preview insiders right now >_> Anyway, behold the fuckawful fog in all its fuckawful glory.
@sabin1981 We believe you, it's pretty hardcore. Can't even imagine how awesome the excavation place would've been without the fog around, although it didn't annoy me as much as seeing this.
In some places there is really nice atmospheric fog, but so far those are very rare and it's mostly just you inside a fog-proof personal bubble... like Samara at the end of Mass Effect 2
HNNNNNNNNGGGGGGG!!! Holy shit this is so good. I don't mind the FO4 music so much, though the battle music gets on my goddamn nerves, but having FO1/2 music instead?
Fallout 4's inventory system is horrible because Bethesda doesn't care about PC gamers. Why not have the intern come up with a serviceable PC centric UI for the PC release?
You guys keep saying this, but on a console this inventory system is still horrible, no?

because it can't be better when you have a gamepad. but it can be better with mouse+kb if you design it differently.
